On ep 12. I am loving it. But wow, I am confused about some things. I feel like there's some big plot holes.1)…
1. I think in episode 2 or 3 she notes that the child and the man who saves her both have the blue scars and she asks the child if the child knows the man. Jin An (as the child) says he doesn't. Later, when Jin An is an adult, she already does figure out that Jin An is the masked superhero saving her, but she wants Jin An to tell her (as she's walking away from him in episode 7 or 8 she thinks this to herself) So, the short answer is, she does know and she figures it out early, but waits for Jin An to say it. 2. They show in episode 1 that the prince always wears a mask around everyone unless they're his close lieutenants; this is why no one recognizes Jin An when he's caught / chained up.
I feel like every JLFX show has a perfect cast when it comes to her adaptations. I love Song Yi in the role because…
I didn't have any strong feelings about Song Yi's character in 'Destined' and actually dropped that drama because I forgot to keep watching it.
But I absolutely LOVE her in this drama. She is so beautiful and is doing such an amazing job as the lethal general, caretaker of her army, and in the sweet/flirty scenes. It makes me want to start watching 'Destined' again (and more of her previous roles). So impressed with her here.
I feel like the next two episodes will slow down and work on character development for a bit, pressing a pause on the action scenes.
But that assassination scene in episode 11 was OFF THE HOOK! π₯ π₯ π₯ π₯ π₯ I don't think I've seen a scene of that type before. I actually gasped.
