I know the novel stops before TBOY starts but I saw somewhere that the drama means to make them converge. Having said that, I don't think there are enough episodes left. Tbh, I would be a bit disappointed if they just stop with a HE for now for BR. Even though it would be sad, I do want to know what made SCH go bad and what made him do the unthinkable of betraying SMY and Anhe. The character would not be complete without this.

My impression is up to this point that she is there for a reason. Her appearance from the get go was too convenient and her innocence seems a bit contrived. But as she gets to know TLC it is possible her motives are evolving. Its hard to tell we will just have to wait and see.

The platforms decide when the Douban score gets released. They usually do it when there are enough votes that they think the score is fair. Unless its a huge hit and runaway success (like The Knockout), the score almost always comes out after the finale or very close to it.

Nope the S&B score is not out either. 7+ is a good score but judging from the comments so far, I don't think either of these dramas will get there.

Well 6.9 would be a very good Douban score for this genre. I believe LYX's last drama TTEOM didn't even come close to breaking a 6.0.

Yes indeed STOTD is one of the rare c-dramas who invested in a screenwriter who is a bona fide historian turned novelist. Those are quite hard to come by and the industry generally doesn't pay scriptwriters well enough. On top of that, like Wang Juan who is the screenwriter for JOL and SSS, he takes a long time bc its just one lead writer and not parsed out to many writers. Its too bad bc dramas that invest in a good script have time and again outshone all the rest. BTW - STOTD3 is rumored to air Nov 8.

No that is just the order in which the dramas were made. But in terms of time sequence, Dashing Youth takes place first, followed by Blood River and finally The Blood of Youth:
Dashing Youth ends in the 3rd Year of Mingde
Blood River starts in the 6th Year of Mingde
The Blood of Youth starts in the 20th Year of Mingde.

You don't have to watch them in order but I think its kind of nice to watch them sequentially. Otherwise you'd get spoiled some of the character endings.

Last I checked, her blood did save TLC's life two times already. I am not sure what is so annoying about that.

I think similar to Dashing Youth, this should be a villain origin story.
