Well it just seems like they are on divergent paths - SMY wants to avenge past grievances and then ride off into the sunset to play nurse with the good doctor. SCH needs to get on with Anhe business. Seems to me their arcs should diverge from here on.
Tbh, I am not sure where the plot is going at this point. I don't love this Wushuang City arc it feels like an excuse for gratuitous fight scenes. And meanwhile Anhe seems to be descending into chaos with no real direction.

Idk how the PM thought he could be treated well after stabbing the man's wife. But what impressed me the most was the emperor's forbearance. I would have slow sliced him to death then and there! And for sure the princess was the least deserving of them all!😤
