ah that’s too bad. I get the frustration. I was gonna suggest to read the novel but it didn’t explain much either. SY was.. literally born to be wyf angel. lol hopefully he’ll pick up more interesting script in the future. I love bjt in Reset. He was good in other dramas too but Reset was so good.

ah okay. so to answer to your question above. in the novel, during the economic crisis, his cousin was impacted, pushed by colleague and end up in a vegetative (not sure if this is the right word?). since jqx has cut off ties with his family, he took it upon himself to take care of his cousin family, thus taking on odd jobs. but he was working as a tutor in the novel. if the drama decided to stick to this story, well then this could be the reason why he is working in construction.
