In the novel, QYY has multiple boyfriends (not at the same time! lol) and she took a long time to move on from YQ. She end up being an e-commerce boss which I think is pretty cool.

But I think in the drama, they will change it. I dont know what will happened to them in the drama.

yes the novel is really wonderful. tbh JQX is not my favorite ML/character but the Qunshan group friendship made me not give up on reading the novel.

might as well talked about Cai FY (boss Cai). He is the only friend supporting YT and JQX relationship. Did not have any romantic feelings towards YT. The only friend supporting YT’s great adventure to Hong Kong later in order to find JQX.

Yu Qiao has always been a caring and protective friend even though he knows that YT is in love with JQX. He never expressed his feeling but has always stood by YT. Later during their university time, he kind of confessed but things git awkward between them for while but they resumed their friendship later on. He was caught putting YT’s birthday as his password too. He never got himself a girlfriend in the novel. JQX also mentioned to YT that he thought YT will end up with Yu Qiao (during their years of separation) and Yu Qiao is the one that makes him feel threatened (as in his position in YT’s heart).

Du Shang, showed some interest when they were in elementary school but that’s probably not a romantic feeling. He got himself a girlfriend later on but still protective of YT as a friend. Maybe because her mom was abused, so he is extra sensitive towards women.
