I don't mind them taking time to get to punishining Concubine Mei...they did a good set up of the scenarios till then, the grain scam, the bandit suppression, how FL and ML's revenge were actually intertwined...I feel it needed that time... I am not happy with unnecessary characters getting screentime..I don't understand the point of conversation between Hu guy and New villian lady....and apart from getting FL jealous what major role has she played??!! Unless the scholars uprising has a really important role, I don't see point of that much screen time....
After such intense episodes, I am somewhat glad today's episode was somewhat low on energy....calm before the storm...hopefully the express episodes live upto the expectations and the plot carefully constructed till now

Ok...the scene of Shen Run's death seems like a Halloween prank than anything real?!! Can FL greive a little or show some emotions?!! I don't think anyone will be fooled..
I wonder why Head Madam seems to love 3rd Lady so much like her own daughter.
I think guilt plus her mother is related to Xia family(not sure if I got name right) who works in place or something..3rd lady's mother's side of family is powerful..
