Title Meeting You Spoiler
The love confession Nan Xi made to Xia Rui was soo touching. It made me cry. :") They are so adorable together.…
I was misty eyed both during the test result scene in 14 and during the confession scene you described :). This show is making me so emotional despite having so little angst …

…but seriously, Xia Rui, not every phone call has to be answered right away! :)

ETA: Oops, 15, not 14.

Any side couples?
Not yet exactly, but if I know my cdrama tropes there will be at least one.

I’m surprisingly loving The Moon Brightens For You. It’s a slow burn romance so the main couple do not get…
Did you finish Love in Time, Vi Dao? I’m stranded in Episode 15. I just don’t know if I can watch the ML suffer at this point, and the discussion on the MDL page isn’t encouraging.

Ack! Episode 7 just about gave me diabetes …what a sweetness overload :).
And Episode 8: 夏芮答应我一直做我的终点 (Xia Rui, promise me, always be my finish line)!

Forgive me for going on, but I love it when the lead couple’s affection not only strengthens them, but spills over and improves the lives and souls of everyone around them. To my mind, this is what love (and not just romantic love) is *for*: when we will the good of another it creates a ripple of good all through our family and friends and beyond. There’s a similar dynamic in Qing Qing Zi Jin, which is one of the reasons I love it so.

If this gets all angsty I’m going to be in so much pain…

I didn’t realize that Fiction Guo had so much range. This is nothing like his character in Su Yu, and he’s able to do the Cold ML role without being deadpan or robotic. He’s doing a great job conveying such vulnerability with such minute facial movements. And of course Wan Peng—I just want to adopt her

Does anyone know what city this was filmed in? I’m really liking the setting.
Chinesedramainfo has an entry about this now—apparently it’s filmed in Guilin. I did a little googling and my goodness, what a pretty place.

Just finished the first 2 episodes and I'm enjoying it so far. Wan Peng and Fiction Guo are doing a great job.…
I did a little binge watching last night, and I agree. The leads are just adorable and the acting is good so far. I’m also a sucker for the trope of the ML finding all kinds of secret ways to take care of the FL.

Well, it’s probably just me, but I don’t really enjoy that kind of FL—feisty, basically well-intentioned but also unprincipled, causing train wrecks right and left. And really, she hasn’t had much character development yet. But the plot is pretty interesting, and I love most of the other characters.

As much as I HATE the character Ruer, I have got to admit that the actress playing her has some really beautiful…
The actress herself is so beautiful as well! Every time she’s on screen, my first thought is “wow, so pretty,” and my second is “wow, what a sociopath.” Kudos to the actress because it’s a more complicated evil than is often the case.

Another hand raised for Love is Sweet. Also Love in Time, Oh My Sweet Liar (almost dropped this but it’s growing on me), The General’s Lady (jury is still out on that one).

I’m going to follow you and start skipping :). I really enjoy side stories when they add to the story (like my all-time favorite, My Girl) but this is just wasting my life …

Thank you! Yes, I love their friendship, and for that matter, I like the character—when she’s not obsessing.

Oh, gosh, someone tell me if the side couple story ever gets remotely relevant or interesting, because I’m on Ep. 9 and the stalking and lack of connection to the main story is starting to suck the life out of the drama for me.

am i the only one who loves all outfit worn by qing zhou here
You’re not the only one! I wish more modern cdramas used such stylish clothes. It’s a pet peeve that so often they show adult professional women dressing like a college student who just had to pull an all-nighter.

Well, that was a nice little fluffy snack of a show! Not the most original plot, but sweet and satisfying, especially the interactions between the male and female leads.
