Whenerver I see a really unique pilot from Thailand with great production value I’m always very sceptical whether it will ever get funded and see the light of day. You often get that ”too good to be true” kind of feeling. I’m so glad and surprised that Clairebell actually pulled through, since so many promising projects before it did not (e.g. The Last Case,Red Peafowl, Vamp and possibly Happy Ending). I hope the industry will continue investing in high quality projects with different type of concepts🙏

The pressure after Khemjira must be quite high😅

To me a good mystery show is somewhat confusing but still interesting from the beginning, and when it ends all the things that didn’t make sense before suddenly become clear. This show can still end up being good or bad, but I think it’s a bit early to judge the mystery part at this point.

That will be my theory for now😂

Ikr. I mean a high-concept fantasy horror series with some BL in it too and insane production value? Does not seem very realistic, especially from a studio that has not made series before. If the project is legit, could be that Jeff severely overestimated his skills ,resources and time. Writing a script for a series like this is not the same as writing lyrics for songs. Unless he has some fan fic background or something I don’t think he has written anything longer before. Funding would be very difficult too. Mike’s Vamp as well, I think it was insane for him to say that Vamp would be a multiple season series like whatXD

Does this mean Clairebell is not doing that well?

Sometimes I wonder if Happy Ending was ever legit in the first place and just a marketing tactic. Even if they were working on it I feel like there must be some major issues behind the scenes. Jeff is always so vague about it and there is no concrete evidence of them being ready to start production anytime in the near future. If filming doesn’t start next year I think it’s highly unlikely we will ever see Happy Ending.

I was only a casual fan back in the day, but I can only imagine how big fans felt when the movie was cancelled after 7 years of waiting in limbo😅

A lot of people who watch Heated Rivalry look down on Asian dramas anyway, so I don’t think it matters that much. If 10Dance is good I’m sure a lot of people will tune in and I can see it becoming quite big domestically in Japan and elsewhere in Asia:)

It’s because there are thousands of idiots who eat that crappy stuff up. So many anticipated shows get thrown in the trashbin like Kinnporsche season 2, red peafowl, Let’s kick this love, the last case, yuri on ice movie…….

I see! I wonder if they will keep their studio after Clairebell and start making yearly series. More studios means more competition which can help with raising the quality of series overall in the industry

It is so funny that I was so disappointed with this one because BOC did not go with their original idea and then I was also disappointed with Shine for that same reason lol I guess re-writing scripts rarely works for me personally

I wonder if this will be picked up by another company hmmmmm……

Is this actually written by Davika or is she simply the one who coined the idea? I don’t see her listed among the screenwriters.

Is this based on a novel?
