How did the ML get this main role? He is more like an annoying side character, his acting makes me really confuzed.…
In a 42-episode drama, it should be expected that immature characters would improve and grow between episode 6 and 42....and yes, his character improves a lot. Also, Z.Tao is actually a great actor, imo, as well as a superstar idol, so he nails this kind of role. (There are other issues with this drama, like editing and production however.)

Don't understand the hate on this drama, it's perhaps, if not the best, one of the best currently airing. It shows…
I'm really liking it so far as well!!

Watched for PMY so far, pretty as always. But the show is a drag, Song Kang taking up repeated roles, please can't…
I totally disagree with you about the show being a drag - I'm finding it very interesting so far. And I don't understand what you mean by Song Kang "taking up repeated roles" - he's doing an amazing job so far in this drama.

Good observation and makes sense, in hindsight.
He is! I haven't started it actually, because 1) I'm waiting for it to be done so I can completely binge, and 2) it's sad and I have to work up the courage to watch it...
(So instead I started watching two other currently airing dramas instead...Forecasting Love and Weather (K) and Legally Romance (C) and wishing I hadn't started either one until they were done!! Why do I do this to myself every time?) LOL

I liked this very much despite its shortcomings. ML lead was frustrating as a romcom lead but if you look at this…

I'm actually pretty good at spotting pregnancy cover-ups in tv shows, LOL, and this one gave me those vibes about halfway through. Then I checked her MDL page and it's what I thought! :-)

The FL just got out of a ten-year relationship, and so far I've seen comments saying that she's obviously on the rebound, and others saying that there isn't any chemistry. It's like she can't win here. She was in a decade-long serious relationship and any thinking, mature adult human in that situation would have stuff to work out before and during the next major relationship she gets into.

I think it's obvious that the drama is not intending to be an easy watch to me. I see people saying they don't…
This is an excellent comment and I agree! "Is it swoony? No. It's deeper than that." 100%. Many of us have gotten too used to being fed cheesy, not-realistic rom-coms where partners either never fight or just magically love each other without any work.

It's my #1 LGBTQ+ film ever, partly because of the extra scenes they added for the film - and espeically the last 10 minutes, like you said.

I agree with everything you said but this drama was actually produced by JTBC, not Netflix!
Good point - I'm watching it on Netflix, so I forgot that

Seino Nana must have been pregnant while filming this - they gave her very oversized sweaters and shirts to wear. (She had her first child just two days ago, on March 10th, 2022.)
