Well it’s up to you if you don’t want to judge a drama with a moral lens but it doesn’t mean people shouldn’t. Media has the power to influence the way we think and the way we act. So when something is unethical, we should call out on it and have discussions on it.

And sorry your “there’s no right or wrong” will not hold up in the courts of law.

Your example is a completely different circumstance and it’s not sexual/romantic by nature.

It’s harassment because he doesn’t know her at all. And it was without his consent because she’s a stranger.

Um sorry but there are such things as right and wrong opinions about social issues.

If we are talking about opinions on if we think the show is good or not in quality and storytelling, that’s subjective and there’s no wrong or right opinion.

But we are talking about moral issues. That’s a whole different ballpark.

Nice try, but sorry I won’t play your game because you know what you are doing is silly and far-fetched.

I’m not going to implore you to understand the gravity of the actions of the FL on this show because you seem to dismiss it by grabbing weak straws to try to point out flaws in my argument and actually spending the time to sift through the dramas I watched in hopes of catching whiffs of hypocrisy. Maybe use that time more effectively by ruminating the legit complaints that people have.

Ep 1, FL kissed the ML unexpectedly and they just met. He told her not to save his number. She did it anyways. Then she suggestively starts to taunt him, sayings she’s young and etc.

Ep 2, while ML was drunk and asleep. FL touches him and rub her head against his body. Then when he called out his girlfriend name, in the midst of jealousy, she punches him hard.

They haven’t cheated yet but FL is actively pursuing him while he has a girlfriend. She’s is a home-wrecker.

What’s wrong with calling out the indecent behaviors of the characters in the show?
Even if it’s a piece of fiction, it’s not acceptable. And frankly I’m really sadden by so many comments justifying actions of the FL that people would be horrified if it happens to them personally in real life.

People need to stop saying that the drama can do whatever it wants because it’s a comedy.
That’s ignorant and hurtful towards people who went through sexual harassment, physical abuse, having their partner cheating on them in real life. That’s just cold.

How is that even funny? The drama is not a straight-up parody. It has comedy aspects but it also has some melodramatic aspects. It’s not pure 100 percent comedy. So should we laugh at the scenes when the FL is sharing her sad stories about not having a family and being misjudged?

You can be a fan of the actors without having to defend and love everything they do.
