Why Sæ went a bit crazy at the end? Because the writer is on crack. She always messes up the endings in her dramas. The female lead in Aishiteru also went off her head at the last minute & so did the heroine in Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. Sigh ...
As for other sexy movies you can watch ... well, how about finishing up Sweet Room? That's pretty sexy. Then follow that up with Five Senses of Eros.
Then there are these movies.
Sexy:
For laughs & sizzle, Petty Romance & My P.S. Partner.
Must watch romantic dramas, Always, Season of Good Rain & Happily Ever After. Ok, Happily Ever After being Japanese isn't THAT sexy, but it's good, trust me. The romance isn't a little offbeat, but will warm your heart & the ending is puuuuurfect! :)
Really sexy:
Sweet Sex & Love, Changing Partners, Never Forever
I thought all of them were pretty good.
Try those first & then come back for more! :-)
Now that you're a fan of Narimiya if you watch something good with him let me know! :p

Hello 4winkay, I don't think we've chatted in a very long time, maybe not even since we became friends. How are things? Watching anything interesting at the moment? I see you've added Golden Empire. I intend to watch this as well, and have seen the first ep. Should be interesting to see if it's as good to me as it has been for everyone else.

I realized now that I forgot to answer your question about Golden Empire. My plan was to have a go at this this weekend, but too many distractions led to me watching only the first episode. It's really too early to say how I feel about it. Only thing I can say for sure is that Go Soo is gorgeous! His character gives off a really intense & riveting vibe. I think I'm going to like him in this role a great deal. So fingers crossed heading into the next episodes, but I'm watching Can You Hear My Heart simultaneously and I find juggling 2 shows at once to be a bit difficult. I don't know how you guys do it! :-)

So you watched Last Love several times just to ogle Shohei did you! Haha ... welcome to the club! :-)
I see on feeds that you gave Orange Days a perfect 10. See, I told you you'd love it! The show is a classic! ;)
As for other Sweet Room like hotness. Well, I have plenty of sexy movie recs if that's what you're looking for. If you're looking for sexy movie recs featuring Shohei (shoot I've totally forgotten the actor's name!) I'm afraid I can't help you. I believe I checked after becoming enamoured with him in OD, but didn't find a lot in his filmography that appealed unfortunately. You have to be prepared that this can happen quite often. That you find a actor you love & the roles on his list are unwatchable! :(

Ha Ji Won, Kim Ha-neul & a few others are actresses who simply rub me the wrong way every time I see them on screen. They get the voice right, more or less, but on every other point below I give them a fail rate. I'll never understand why they're so popular. On the other hand there are actresses (like Kim Nam Joo for eg) who I like everything about how they act, but the characters they tend to play are very annoying. I really hated her character in Unexpected You.
As for Kim Nam Gil, I never said I disliked him. I said he's one of those actors that I DO like, but the roles he chooses to play ... ugh. Either he plays these tragic characters who always die in the end or he's exploring his sexuality in LBGT themed films that are not my cup of tea. Just about the only role I really liked him in was as Tæ-san in Lovers.
When it comes to how I choose shows I have a different approach. It's a given that if I like an actor I'll stalk his list, but I won't watch anything that doesn't sound good to me just because he or she is in it. Well, it can happen, but rarely. On the other hand I'll watch any drama or movie that catches my interest with its synopsis or trailer or whatever. It doesn't matter which genre it's in or if I know the cast or not. If I like how it sounds I'll watch it.

I'm not much of manga/anime fan so I think I'll pass on Skip Beat all together. It sounds like a cute story, but if the couple takes more than half the show to get together I'm jumping ship. Not for me.
A few months ago I seriously considered watching Queen of the Game for the sake of Jung Min Joo (think that's his name). I've seen a few of his movies & I like him, he's really handsome so I thought I need to watch more of his dramas. But a friend of mine talked me out of it ... for more or less the same reason you mentioned, plus the fact that it's quite melo according to her.
Usually when I dislike an actor/actress it's more because of how they go about the process of acting. Everything from facial expressions (very important) & mannerisms to tone of voice & how they play off their co-stars.
Tone of voice & facial expressions are very important to me. I find that many Asian actors, esp young female ones, have a tendency to exaggerate emotions. They also don't know how to control their voices. Many of them are too high-pitched & squeaky and it gets on my last nerve. You really have to wonder what sort of acting training they got. The voice is one of the actors most important tools; if you turn your audience off with annoying intonation, it's kind of shooting yourself in the foot. That said, this is only half an actor's fault as they work under directors whose job is to coach the actor away from overacting.
Pleased to see there's some diversity in the cast!

Oh dear, I can't remember. It was either on YouTube or dramacrazy before it closed down. Sorry I can't be of more help.
By the way, thx for the rec of New World. Got it on the list! :-)
As for dramas I'm watching: Can You Hear My Heart & Golden Empire. Have you seen these? If so, what did you think?

But you're on ep 4 already?! It's either that good or you're speed watching. I started ep 1 & Go Soo is just a vision! Wow! Can't wait to see where this goes, but of course I'm watching CYHMH as well.

Re MARS, hmm, interesting to know! I should check out some more of their adaptations then, if what you say is true! I remember I had Skip Beat on the list, but took it off because I got the impression that it's veeeeeery slow moving & I've got better written Jp dramas for that so I don't need more. I think my next Taiwanese drama will be the currently airing one ... Just You I believe it's called.
As for Innocent Man, I have no idea who Song Joong Ki is so he's not incentive enough to take a chance on this melo that's got people so divided! lol Believe it or not, though romance is always nice to have it's not imperative to every drama I choose to watch. Nor is it enough for me to watch a drama I otherwise might dislike (even if the romance itself is pretty good). So we'll see about Innocent Man. I'll keep what you said in the back of my mind in case the mood for a good melo strikes one day.
I haven't see a role of Lee Bo-young (I think that's her name) that I've liked, but I can't say I dislike the actress. By the way, may I ask why she's on your blacklist? Anyway, many Korean actresses are like this for me. I like them, I see that they can act, but the roles they play aren't very appealing. This happens with some actors too, eg Kim Nam Gil, but on rarer occasions. That ever happen to you?

Haha! I totally bowled over at your comments about Min-ho 'hands in pocket' Lee! haha
So he's that bad, eh? See that's why I want to watch him in something, ANYTHING ... even if it's horrible because I just have to see for myself. I'm not planning to watch City Hunter or Heirs because they interest me, but just to meet him & see what all the fuss is about. It took the greater part of a year for City Hunter to land on my list. And I will only watch Heirs if I don't get to CH by the time it comes out.
It would appear that you're waaaaay less shallow than me, chingu! I think he's incredibly handsome. Whatever I may think of his acting, I gotta give him his looks. And if he asked me on a date I'd seriously risk pissing off my ahjussi big time & go with him! lol
But yes I can certainly understand the appeal of not accepting, just to say you rejected the mighty, internationally loved Lee Min-ho! LOL
For me though the opposite is true, I'd accept just to say I DID go on a date with him & he's so and so! he he he
Ok so long comments. Just type until you've used up the entire 1800 characters you're allotted. Keep in mind, though, that you won't be able to edit after you've used up 700 or so characters.
