I like him, but I have to agree his acting needs some work. The way he recites his lines sometimes can be exceedingly bad. Speaking with reference to his role in MYDSY.
Happy Birthday, oppa and thanks for the best nipple shot in kdrama EVAH!
Nipple shot??? Please tell us which drama you saw that in!!! Palle! :)

Hi there. Sorry for the late reply! I'm soooo glad you found the review helpful and that you're enjoying the show. As you read I absolutely adore this story because it was so unlike the usual childish fare dramaland has to offer! How far along are you? Let me know how it ends for you! :)

I've seen Love Fiction ... er, didn't like it all that much! :/
You should watch oppa in Nameless Gangster. That's where I first 'met' him & fell in luuurve! :) hehe
Two in the Shadow isn't tragic per se. It's poignant, a little heartrending. What I loved about it is the great acting and direction that made me feel every emotion. I'm truly beginning to fall in love with classic Japanese cinema, perhaps more so than their contemporary offerings.
I've been to South America yes. Asia is very high on my list! :)

Ms Rosie, left the following for you on the feeds but don't know if you saw it so I'm posting here:
Curious ... why wouldn't this be my cup of tea? Given what you know of my taste is there something here than could turn me off? I've only seen 5 eps so it's hard to make a judgment call at this point.
This by the way is in reference to My Daughter Seo-young.
Hope you've been well.
You've become decidedly less talkative than I remember you to be. What gives? :)

I did a lot of travelling when I was a student. Backpacking, long weekends and so on. I come from North America so travelling the entire continent was easy and my mom is from the Caribbean so travelling there was also a must. Then I moved to Europe ... so it kinda adds up.
These days I don't have much time or money to travel ... which is what happens when you work for yourself and not someone else.
I liked the doctor friend in Nine too, but I didn't want to jump his bones like Sun Woo's ... if you get my drift! *wink*wink* haha
It's possible that I have all those movies on my list, but I can't recognize any of the names except My Rainy Days. I know I started that one then put it on hold. I'll get back to it at some point.
The one I wanted to rec you is called Two in the Shadow. I really loved that movie. Romance the way I like it, even though it's a bit tragic (wouldn't be Japanese if it wasn't, right? :)

Yes, ma'am, I have. 35 countries, 3 continents, but NOT Asia or Africa. YET! :)
I've actually had many chances to work in China, but always declined. That was prior to my drama addiction. If I get the chance now, hells yes I'd go!
I haven't been home to see my family in over 3 yrs so I want to make a trip home this year. After that I'm free to go anywhere else I want to go. I'm planning my next big international trip to Korea. On the same trip I want to pop over to Vietnam as one of my friends is based there and he's begging me to come visit everyday. He thinks I'd love it! :)
Hehe we did both NINE! Yay! :) How could anybody dislike Sun Woo? That man is just super smart and all kind of gorgeous! haha Can you believe though that I STILL have NOT watched the finale? Can you please tell me WHAT I'm waiting for?? haha
I was actually wanting to rec you a JP romance movie, not a drama. It's kind of artsy though so I'm not sure you'll dig that. :)

Not surprised! haha
Romance outside dramaland is usually weird or tragic.
Do you like Japanese romance? Esp classic ones?
It was I who rec'ed Never Forever to you, wasn't it? I think that's the first thing I rec'ed you that you liked! ;) Otherwise our tastes are on a collision course haha.
What dramas have you been shipping lately, if any? Have you jumped on the 'Man from the Stars' bandwagon?

Anyway, glad you liked the movie.
Scene where they go out of the resto, shouting and swearing??? What scene is that? I can't remember! I'mma have to rewatch cuz it does sound epic!

Hey, long time no chat. I noticed on the feeds that you just finished Nine & gave it an 8. Why not a 9 or 10? I'm just curious because I still need to watch the final episode and I'm not sure yet how I'm going to rate. It all depends on the ending! :)
Otherwise, what have you been up to lately?

So ms. D4L when do you intend to answer me? Are you ignoring me because I insulted your man's fashion sense? :p
@bimba She's right up there wit ms. Ha Ji Won as far as I'm concerned. In fact I probably hate her more than Ha. I've seen her in a few movies + this drama and I've never liked her in ANYTHING. At least I didn't mind Ha in Closer to Heaven.
I really enjoyed this drama though I dislike the female lead (and the actress) with a passion.
I read somewhere that Cha Seung Woo was in talks to star in this drama. Man, he should have taken the role. Even though I enjoyed Jang Dong Gun as the male lead I think Cha Seung Woo would have fitted better ... just because he's so darn manly AND he has good comedic timing.
Ah well, it was still a good show. Some viewers felt it was a bit sexist. And it probably was, but what do you expect from a drama that is completely from the male POV? What I loved about the show was exactly the fact that it wasn't sickeningly PC ... even when I personally wanted to beat them over the head for objectifying women.
Good job with the article, Clemi! :)

Noooo, no tearjerkers. I'd prefer romantic drama like Lovers or romantic comedy like City Hall. Something stress free!
