I guess one will never know what his true intentions are until he goes back to Japan. If he misses you and keeps in touch then you know it wasn't just a fling he was after. And it's not just about HIM! But you too, Juniko my dear! Maybe all YOU want is a fling ...? Then 5 mths is more than enough. If not, then you know your heart will be broken when he has to leave. Long distance relationships aren't easy to maintain. Can you picture yourself living in Japan with a Japanese husband? :p

I was excited about Cunning Single Lady, but the teasers turned me off of it. Not to mention early reviews are pretty lukewarm.

Hi Edinaa, yes, mental stress is the worse! And yes, I can totally relate to not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. We just have to have faith. Faith that things will get better and that difficult times will pass. Faith in a higher power, in ourselves or whatever.

I've actually been going through a lot of undue mental stress myself, for the last 2 yrs. It's mostly work related, but also some issues in my personal life. I've always been a person who likes to have a plan, road map for where my life is heading. Two years ago I lost that map and I've been trying to find it again ever since. It's been difficult. It has been and still is the greatest source of stress for me. I've put on weight because of it. I don't sleep well because it. I've not been a good daughter, friend, girlfriend because of it. But each day I get up and I tell myself it'll pass, it'll pass, it'll pass. Most times I don't believe my own words (depression is a beast, makes you pessimistic & negative in your thoughts), but I keep on saying it, hoping one day it will turn out to be true.

So whatever is troubling you, my dear Edinaa, it will pass.
In the meantime we can escape into dramaland and forget our worries a bit. I'm glad you liked Like Father, Like Son. I really like the guy who played the rich dad. He really learned to be human & connect with his family throughout the movie. What dramas are you watching now, if any? I STILL haven't decided what drama I want to watch! I've been trying to decide for over 2 mths! haha

Carrot, my dear! It's always a pleasure to read from you. Thank you for the update on Protect the Boss. I'll watch it even though some people say the male lead is a bit wimpy. I don't like wimpy male leads. I rather him be a jerk than a wimp. Dunno what that says about me, but it's the truth! hehe :p Anyway, I'll watch it for the comedy even though I really hate love triangles. I've also heard the side characters are pretty good! :)

I'm not watching anything at the moment. Actually it's been a while since I watched a drama, maybe 2-3 mths? I'm not in a slump, I just can't make a choice! lol Last drama I watched was Nine. It was great! I fell in love with the male lead, sooo cute!!! Have you seen it?

In the meantime I've been watching movies, my first love. Prior to this drama hiatus I hadn't watched a movie for like 3-4 mths so now I guess I'm playing catch up.

There is no way under the sun I would let him walk out of the house in that monstrosity that he wore to the drama awards if he were my man. Or if he insists, I'd disown him for the night I swear to the Heavens. That magician suit was the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

As for mr. Lee ... that would be my drama hubby mr. Lee Seo Jin (could also be mr. Lee Byung Hun but he done left me & got married last year so I put him on the back burner for now! :). I first saw my darling in Lovers & fell totally and madly and irrevocably in love! You can check my profile for a lil eye candy if you like. My real life hubby is kinda jealous! ha! But he's gonna have to deal with it! :p

Hehe ... well, ok, I don't dislike him, but I'm not a fan either! :)

He doesn't irritate me or anything. I've seen him in Alwyas (loved him there!) and parts of master's sun. His character reminded me too much of the lovely Cha Seung Woo's Dok Go Jin in The Greatest Love so I didn't appreciate him in MS as much. That's more the fault of the horrible Hongs than Subby-ssi though.

And now I understand why you like him! Because you're nuts just like him! :p You think his fashion sense is awesome??? Bahaha Girl, he needs to fire his damn stylist ... or hire one and LISTEN TO HER if he dresses himself! hehe

All, but one, are a no go.

I like Kang Ji Hwan but I don't like the sound of the plot in Big Men. Hotel King sounds boring and I don't watch noona romances so Witch's Romance is out. Moreover while Uhm Jung Hwa is a respected actress (and I don't hate her like other overrated actresses that shall remain unnamed), there's something about her role interpretations that don't quite convince me. So double no.

I definitely won't watch the medical drama. I hate medical dramas. And ... I don't like Lee Jong Suk. I think he's ugly. What's up with his mouth? If you think his lips are kissable, I don't! :p #dontshoot

I'll watch anything with Cha Seung Woo's name on it, though, so You're All Surrounded is the only one that makes the cut even if I'm not too keen on the plot! :)

Sleepy, I have no idea re Good Days on Viki or Dramafever. I usually watch drama on neither of those sites because they don't normally work in my location.

The last drama I finished was Nine, I think. That was Nov/Dec last year. I haven't watched anything since. I've been super busy & I can't see to find anything that suits my mood. So I've been watching movies instead which is fine because my movie PTW list was getting way too fat.

Yup, Vera is really a great actress, imo. It's not that she plays a super wide range of characters, but her performances are always intense. You're totally drawn in. Watch her in Never Forever! I rec'ed this movie to you when you came asking for romance movies. Did you watch it?

No I was actually referring to Kings2Heart. Lee Soon Shin was universally panned by everyone so I've sort of banned it from my watch list.

The fact that HJW is the lead female in K2H is a definite negative. Usually I'm able to tolerate her enough to watch dramas / movies she's in even though I hate her acting, but the fact that LSG is the male lead doesn't help. Not that I have anything against him. Everyone thinks he's so fly, but I'm not familiar with his work at all & he's not good looking enough for me to jump in blind. So I guess this drama will never make the cut.
