I know it lacks a certain quality in writing and it could have used an extra hour but it's still emotional and thought provoking. The acting and chemistry is also on point, I will definitely watch it again.
Now...the only thing I don't complain about are kissing scenes. The more the better😏
That would make a lot of sense but still not enough excuse to write something so stupid considering it's a tv series and not straight up porn. It was recommended for chemistry points but didn't see any from the few episodes I saw. As for SAHPH the character set up looks good but I've seen around ten kiss scenes. If the drama turns out to be 29 episodes it won't be so good if we don't get to see Qin Shi out of a love life and Yang Hua figuring out his self. I'd like to see from other characters and actors too. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
This sprawling historical saga spanning thousands of years, is rich and luscious in its story-telling. The war,…
Though taking Ye Hua's side is understandable, since the story was told from his point of view, I'll have to disagree with you. The Male characters in the drama also had serious flaws. Ye Hua was bordering on a control freak forcefully invading Bai Qian's space and making decisions for the both of them. His being forgiving and accommodating was also out of guilt after all what could be more unforgiving than taking your wife's eyes and giving it to your future consort. SuSu on the other hand never blamed him for lying to her several times and abandoning her but she reached her breaking point when she thought he didn't love her. Bai Qian is a character that has been betrayed so much in the past can you really blame her for choosing not to forgive his betrayal? Then you have Li Jing the ungrateful cheat, after all the sacrifices his wife made for him he chose to ignore her for thousands of years and blamed her for things they both bore responsibility for. So they all bore as much flaws and much merit.
Everyone's worried about the episode count, I'm worried that 40 episodes is still not enough to contain all the kissing scenes I've seen from the drama. I just hope the plot doesn't come out stupid 🙏
About the reason for killing Bong Yi's grandmother... the button that she saw in the picture of the victim was…
I understand but it's just one very ordinary button. Isn't it a bit too farfetched to connect it to Ba Reum who was the least suspect at the time. It wasn't even connected to the jacket.
I a bit confused about the ending. Maybe someone can explain it to me. How did they live?
I hear it's an open ending so there are many interpretations, but from the final dialogue I don't think they died, since they never showed them dying. On the other hand you can interprete it as a sad ending since the next scene looks like heaven but might not be 🤷
Still trying to wrap my head around this mess. It would have been so much better for me as an ordinary cat and mouse chase without the OZ and brain transplant explanation 😓. The mystery element was kinda predictable and somethings don't make sense, for example, why was the head hunter always bashing the heads he planned to harvest brains from, one time he even used a hammer. The explanation for killing Bong Yi's grandmother was really stupid just bcoz she saw a button, was it a limited series? I'm really pissed at all the unnecessary deaths. This isn't a masterpiece in my book, I don't know, a lot of things are just too farfetched. Off to rinse this off with some sweet romance.
I guess Legend of Fuyao is the first and last of it's kind. There's vast fantasy elements, great adventure and a lot of characters to like. The politics is well balanced and doesn't overwhelm the main theme. On their journey there's new friends and new enemies. Then the romance 😍, awesome chemistry and close to zero misunderstandings. My only complaint was not seeing enough the leads. This is the only wuxia drama I've seen with actual adventure, these days wuxia dramas only focus on shallow romance and brainless misunderstandings and rely on big names to earn traffic.
