True, but we count by days because a specific number of people can only watch a specific number of episodes within the same period no matter how many have been released. Also consider that NPE had to compete with other important dramas in the November and December slot and more traffic actors, but this drama relied on YM's popularity alone and didn't market as much, YAMG had Yang Yang and Dilraba and a lot of promotion.

To be honest I'm tired of all the game of thrones references I've been getting from some political dramas of late. Maybe it's a good thing this drama isn't going to air, if not Yu Zheng will come under fire again. Though it's big budget the costumes are hilariously exaggerated and everything has an overpowering western feel, disappointing.

You went on to ZLY's and were embarrassingly defeated there, now you go round acting like the users on this page are a hive of bees. If you are entitled to opinions so is everyone else, so how are we in the wrong and you're not.

I finished all except to be a better man. It had interesting characters and a good backstory but some things are prolonged and repititive, sad I really like Lu Yuan. I'll check minning town, don't have expectations though.

Yes, the dubbing actress did not reflect YM's emotions well enough here, it's good YM will be dubbing herself from now on.

I personally feel NPE and storm eye are YM's best performances so far but not her best projects. As an actress deciding on scripts, a team and putting your feet down on the execution is crucial to future prospects and the audience's perception of your work but this isn't something she has enough freedom on. I hope Jiao Zang will put together a reputable team and YM will look out for her own interests.

That's impressive, we have Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie and Queen Elizabeth leading the list, it shows that Yang Mi and Liu Yi Fei are household names with great influence, their popularity will not wane easily, they are the only two Chinese women in the top 20, congrats.

Do you guys feel Bai Qian, Fu Yao and Hai Shi are the same character just bcoz they happened to dress as boys for a very short arc in the course of the drama?

Saw that, it's really heartbreaking and much darker. The relationship between the king and the guard was the most profound, I wanted to put it in recommendations but I was afraid if it was too touchy.

8.0 for me. This isn't by any means a bad drama, of course there's the top notch acting and attention to detail but I couldn't help feeling they had this great concept but couldn't find a suitable premise and focused more on making it brutal and disgusting. At best all I have to do is keep my eyes open for 7 so hours and I don't get bored, but it's nothing to remember.

There are several child actors/actresses that have impressed me, most of them Korean and younger. My favorite was
Dae Jang Geum's younger self in Jewel in the palace. When I saw this one I thought 🤷 at least she's not awkwardly staring at the director. Then I go online and everyone can't stop talking about her 🤣 I also questioned my taste and shut up bcoz I know my preferences are almost always in contrast to popular opinion. I think the primary requirement for costume dramas has become good looks though no one will admit, I guess that's why everyone is interested in this girl.

Guys I go everywhere and I see everyone praising the young actress in the first episode but am I the only who thought her acting was a bit wanting, I've seen better from child actors 🤷
