Am I the only one who thinks a happy ending would have ruined this drama 👀

Hope SaHPH will air in the first quarter of 2022, hopefully no annoying editing, cencorship or over emphasized secondary pairings.

Depends, if you're actually trying to watch a drama, if not don't bother at all 😊

The ending scenes of both couples are so meaningful...

It's not that her tears aren't sincere but HS has never been inclined to cry deeply, all emotional scenes were consistent with trying to hold back tears.

True tragedy gives you anguish and doesn't make you angry or irritated. On that note the tears won't stop falling, everyone fought hard and I don't regret anything. The climax was beautifully done and packed the intended punch, my only gripe with the plot is the four episodes I wisely skipped, if not my interest would have waned before reaching such a beautiful ending.

I feel nostalgic, there were a lot of good days in Jifeng palace, now Zhouying and Zhe Liu are gone along with everyone else. The embroidery house and the ass kissing eunuch are gone too. I'll miss Shao Zi too, should retire and find himself a lass. This is a perfect point to end...

Wu Ji: Flips her over his shoulder, carries her to the dessert and kisses her until she says YES...
God I miss that drama.

Chinese dramas🤦 I skipped 4 episodes, more than two hours of tv time and I didn't miss a thing.

While it's good to see that HS did not falter and waste the efforts of the unfortunate casualties, I think the director made a very bad call here, just a moment of expression would have been enough.

Someone please spoil me the events episode 39 to 42.

And people who bring in large fandoms have no talent?

Didn't even see episode 1...

Aside from work related scenes, I think her voice is very expressive. Sometimes you can hear restrained tears and other light Expressions. Funny enough when it's work related it isn't any different from other actors in the same situation. If it's the way she punctuates her lines with silence, I don't think it's refined to speak in a running manner. I find her line expression to be in line with the situation but you can also catch her trying to control her voice which isn't easy given her level of experience and it's her nature to speak like that.

Though YM doesn't look anything like a man in the drama, I don't think it makes sense to burst into tears at every turn considering the role she's trying to play. Secondly I believe that anybody that likes YM knows that the acting is mostly from the eyes and other mannerisms like hand and head movements. I don't think I've seen any drama where her face was contorted to express emotion except this year's storm eye.

Falling into your smile

Yes there is a day difference, like I said NPE will hit 3 billion in it's final broadcast, but comparing all factors involved( level of marketing and broadcast schedule) the difference doesn't count for much.
