It's weird though I was going to praise this drama for having zero misunderstandings. HS knows FZ's feelings clearly and she's right to be upset. She's not going to wake one morning and act as though he never loved her( looking at you LAR and AOL). It's the same for other characters that might think they are keeping things from their love interests when they are as open as a book to them.
As for Ji Chang I think he has started making his move by first of all disabling FZ. I think Su Ming is also misleading all of them to think they're currently safe and we'll be getting a surprise attack soon.
As for Ti Lan and Di Xu, I don't think they'll ever truly love each other. For that to happen Di Xu and Ti Lan have to acknowledge what happened as a man and a woman not as emperor and subject. Looking at his definition of an apology (lake filled with rare flowers blablabla he cannot express everything in words...), Ti Lan just seems grateful that she won't be tortured anymore and as usual won't dare to wish for more than she gets while Di Xu is just trying to be a better person to her.

I'm really bummed by YM's screen time. I mean it was ok in TMOPB and LOFY bcoz the chemistry hit hard and things progressed quickly but down here the romance of the leads is more complicated and needed more screen time instead they developed other couples at the expense of the leads and somehow turned YM into some kind of wingman😓, I'm just hoping SAHPH turns out better.
I just want FZ to pull HS into his arms and kiss her until she melts into a puddle of liquified osmanthus sugar...pls just once, all this restraint is killing me...

If it's modern I don't mind. I heard Gu Man adaptations are light and full of fluff, I wish she can get her hand on something like that. I'm tired of the way they use YM. They put her on the front of posters but if the work is successful theyd say it doesn't have anything to do with her if it fails they'd say it's all her fault. In all her hit works there's always someone leeching off her, I just want her all to myself 😔
