Yang Mi is doing so well that I just laugh at any criticism I see anywhere. Especially with the lines, I don't understand Chinese but you can tell she's doing her best to make each word dinstinct and at the same time not sound like a robot. Since YM doesn't bother to use water army it'll probably still not fare well on douban. As for the action scenes, it amazes me that with the big budget it's so bad. The cameraman can't catch one fluid motion, one moment someone is flipping in the air, the next moment they are sitting in a chair, how did they get there. The choreography is a bit unrealistic so the stunts sometimes don't even make sense. I didn't see schemes of a beauty but I think she did well in Legend of Fuyao. These things depend heavily on the team. Look at a certain someone that used 35 body doubles and was even able to convince everyone she's this crazy martial artist bcoz of a good team lineup. Anyway good criticism will lead to better works, YM keeps on improving, hopefully for Jiao Zang a more complicated styling and team in general.
