I agree with you. I can accept if they are not back together however there’s trailer that he proposed marriage.…
I agree…..he probably thinks he’s protecting her but instead pushing her farther away. Even if he doesn’t want to get her involved, he should have known that abandoning her again won’t do any good. She has been abandon by him twice now, I understand why she doesn’t want to get back with him again. Honestly, I think they need like a few years break, not a few months. He’s not only her love but is her best friend so he should have known better. Why does he keep SFL around but hides from FL the important stuffs.
I am so glad to say that despite what others are saying, I am still enjoying this series very much! :D
I think the drama is still good. Just a lot of discussion here and there about what’s happening but I’m sure a lot of people are in it for the full ride till the end.
There's a crying emoji in episodes 27 - 28 so I'm so confused... Especially because I don't think the ML is going…
Where did you see episode 27-28? I’m still catching up to 24 only. Right now, the next thing to focus on is the baby of HJ. That baby is also the Crown Prince’s baby so he can order the return of that baby even if HJ left. So far we have seen that CP won’t leave YZ alone, always meddling in and trying to figure out things because he felt threaten by YZ’s ability. So he can use HJ and the baby as leverage against ML and FL to get them to do whatever he wants. I hope that’s not the case but at this point, CP has the power to do a lot of things that even the other brothers can’t do. YZ will have to find a lot of stuffs on CP to bring him down if they want HJ and the baby to live peacefully.
I'm only up to episode 13. Love love love this drama! I don't view it as a romance, more of a fun family show. One…
I feel bad for her but I think her storyline is of some importance to the development of the whole story too. We can’t all have a lovely dovely marriage for all our characters. Also, she went into the marriage not for love but she wanted something out of it. Unfortunately, she just choose the wrong Prince to marry that’s all. I do feel bad for her and I hope she doesn’t turn bad later…she’s just so nice and positive around her friends even when she’s suffering. I hope they find a resolution for her issue without having to sacrifice anyone.
Wow, she slap the crown Prince….ok I’m all for women empowerment but slapping the Crown Prince who’s already…
Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying the drama so far, I’m just saying that slapping the crown Prince is probably not a good idea because he has a lot of power compare to the other princes. Remember ML is the least likely to succeed (per everyone’s views from the beginning) so he’s been prepping to take over without drawing attention to himself.
Wow, she slap the crown Prince….ok I’m all for women empowerment but slapping the Crown Prince who’s already…
I agree…I’m ok with what’s happening so far but hitting the Prince is like wow….she can potentially get herself killed and everyone else because he has more power than all the other princes. That’s why he’s a jerk in the first place because he has so much more power and think he can get away with anything.
I felt same for last 4-5 epis . I never fast forwarded earlier but have been doing in recent epis somehow
I know!!!! I’m getting tired of her throwing that excuse in his face or telling him that he can’t be around her. I thought she was suppose to be growing into her role as legal wife material. I want to see her grow up and be worthy of his wife. She can still be herself, she just needs to learn to control her emotions. I wanted her to solve these issues discretely instead of like all in the open where all her actions can have consequences to bring ML and others down.
Wow, she slap the crown Prince….ok I’m all for women empowerment but slapping the Crown Prince who’s already…
I know that but this is ancient China where the region they are in are male dominate. She’s from a region where male and female are equal. She has to learn to control her emotions or she might end up hurting HJ and everyone around her more. He’s the crown prince, even if he’s a jerk, he has more power than her husband.

I agree too….as much as I like HJ, she choose to put herself in this position in the first place. She will have to get herself out of it but I don’t think it’s worth to drag everyone down with her, especially the ML. I feel like his life is now turned upside down because FL is butting into everyone’s business with no boundaries and she doesn’t seem to understand the consequences of her actions on ML. He’s been so nice to her and letting things slide to please her. Eventually all her actions whether good might come back to bite ML.
Wow, she slap the crown Prince….ok I’m all for women empowerment but slapping the Crown Prince who’s already a jerk is just asking for more trouble. And it’s going to be ML that gets in trouble bc she’s his wife 🤦🏻♀️. FL need to take a step back and not butt into everyone’s business but rather focus on her self and growing into her role if she wants to help ML in the future.

I agree….can we also see the Princes do some stuffs to? The last 4 episodes focus heavily on women empowerment, which is great but we need character development for the other characters too. So far it’s been focus so much on FL. We need development in her relationship with ML, plus the other relationships too since we are half way through the drama.
My 2-cents worth on this drama thus far -- as the title states "Almost Lover" ... it does signifies that the 2…
I agree too….honestly I still don’t even know why he likes her in the first place. The whole half of the drama was pretty much about how much he puts the SFL first because he used to like her. Like his past with SFL was pretty much the focus of all the misunderstanding and mistrust in their relationship. Now that the SFL rejected him and he finds himself alone, now he comes back to the FL? Why? What does he likes about her? Was it because she was his comfort growing up? Was it because now she’s being liked by someone else? And then once they got together, so much miscommunications.
Now, he finished his family issues and expect the FL to come back to him. Why didn’t he tell her that? That he has issues he has to resolved, he needs her to take a step aside and he will come back to her once everything is fixed. Instead he broke up with her…..of course she would be upset and call it off too. Now, I’m not saying FL is all good too…she herself has trust issues to deal with. Ok, she doesn’t want to go back with him…that’s understandable on her part. What I don’t like is how the story kept throwing her in his path to try to get them back together but at the same time have her pulling back. It’s annoying as heck, her pouting and sad face the last couple of episodes was kind of hard to watch compare to the earlier episodes. It’s like….ok if you don’t want to be with him….it’s ok, but stop throwing your broken relationship in his face. Cause now, it’s going to be awkward to see her suddenly to a 180 and accept him back with 4 episodes left. How are the writers going to conclude this when the last couple of episodes, they have her pulling away at every opportunity ML throws her? Sorry for the rant….just sharing my frustration. Typically in this kind of misunderstanding relationship type drama, even if they broke up, FL is still pinning for ML and ML is trying to get back with her so naturally they get back together despite all their miscommunications. Here, we have ML chasing FL, but she’s running in the other direction.
What happened to the remaining episodes? Did they change the schedule again?
If realistic life, then I don’t want FL to get back with ML yet. He still needs to sort out his feelings for her. We still don’t know when and why he fell for her. She still have to sort out hers too, she’s been hurt by him too many times.
But since this is a drama and it’s about to end soon, I just want them to patch things up quickly and focus on the next part, which is her career.
Did anyone felt like the ending of the whole zhao mingxin situation was not as satisfying. I meant it’s great that it got resolved but I was hoping to see him get sentenced and drag off to jail.
I actually felt a bit sad for ML when he was meeting up with his biological mother and then his biological mother…
So my take on the ML-mother relationship is that his mom does love him but she has to not be overly affectionate and bring attention to him. He has been living in discrete all this time. His mom doesn’t want him and his little brother to be under the attention of the government because anything can happen to them and she cannot protect them because she doesn’t hold any power.
Nothing like Goodbye my Princess. This drama will make you smile and feel sooo good watching every scene. Every issue is resolved with miminal drama and everyone except the crown Prince, gets along pretty well.
What new schedule?? Are we not going to be getting our daily episodes anymore? That’s the only thing forcing…
Omg that’s so annoying. Why would they do that to us…should have just started off with thr schedule they wanted. Now what am I going to watch Thurs to Saturday. 🤦🏻♀️
I’ll be watching today’s and tomorrow’s episodes together. Then the new schedule begins. It was fun while…
What new schedule?? Are we not going to be getting our daily episodes anymore? That’s the only thing forcing me to wake up super early to watch the next episodes.
