I agree too…it’s like once the break up came, he was pretty much nonexistent until the end. I hope season 2, they develope his character more. I don’t know why MW got so much screen time 🤦🏻‍♀️.

It was a good ending. Yes, it was rushed and yes, we didn’t get the nice full conclusion to all the issues we wanted but it was an ending that ended well….like a subtle ending to a storm that can be pick up again with season 2. We have to remember that we are viewing this drama from YW’s perspective so things will be slow and less dramatic compare to other drama where the lead is full on action and with sensibility. All in all, I like the drama…episode 13-15 was kind of a bit messy there but episode 16 tie it well enough to build upon for season 2. For those of us waiting for season 2, see you in a few years. And for those who didn’t fully enjoy this and won’t be back for season 2, that’s ok. Everyone has different expectations so if someone didn’t like it, that’s ok.

Lol, I hope so. Gosh, still trying to wrap my head around how the writer is going to close this final episode with all the stuffs happening and still allow enough time for our leads to end up together. I hope they end up together….

JH in the car looking out and YW looks like she’s crossing the street or something…….gosh, are we going to get that cliche car accident scene??!! She gets hit by a car and he is there to save her. They realize they can’t live without each other…the end??

Right, wasted time on his character. Writers should have developed more of JH’s character. We barely know much about him and he’s the leading actor in the drama.

I agree but I think maybe time is limiting as KTO has to enlist soon so here we have a rushed ending and a pending season 2. They should have plan the storyline better from the beginning.

Ummmm….seems like this should be a 18-20 episode long drama instead of 16. They should have extended the drama instead of consider a second season as we have only ONE episode left and there are still A LOT to resolve. All this mess should have started in episode 10 so there is a flawless execution to the ending resolutions. I sure hope we don’t end with an open ending cause that would just leave things on a bad note. Although I might be in the minority here but I’m looking forward to a season 2. I want the writers to take into considerations what was lacking from season 1 and develop season 2 with more depth and better cases. I also want to see YW navigate marriage life too. I do not want another love relationship or a third wheel in the current relationship for season 2. Just purely focusing on character development and good cases with meaningful messages behind it. Season 2 can be done nicely to tie in whatever was missing from season 2 to make it an overall good drama that span 2 seasons. PEB has done well for this drama, she totally helped carry this drama on her shoulder.

So as far as I know, season 2 is still in discussion, so it’s not confirmed yet. The goal of the news is to say that hey, maybe we might do a season 2 and if we do, we will try to get everyone on board again. Maybe this is news so that all individuals affected by this production keep their schedule open. I’m sure had KTO not have military enlistment, maybe they can jump right into season 2 but since he will be gone for 1.5 years, then they have to postpone season 2. Anyhow, this news came after they finished filming the final episode so whatever dissatisfaction we have, hopefully they can fix it for season 2. It would be nice to see YW and JH get marry and build a little family in season 2.

Well said. Their relationship isn’t all rosy and peachy, this bump on the road was going to happen sooner or later. Audiences need to realize that from the characters’ point of view, realistically, people like YW might have to endure this kind of prejudice due to their condition. As much as I hate break ups in kdrama bc sometimes it’s unnecessary, for this drama, I believe they needed a break to sort out their feelings. I’m pretty sure by the end of the drama, they will be together. For now, let’s just appreciate that this drama came out.

Let’s all hold on to our hearts and hope for the best for the last two episodes. So far, this has been one of the best drama for me. PEB is so pretty and just simply adorable but I just want to say that KTO has one of the best smile ever. There are some handsome actors out there but their smiles are so so. But when KTO smiles, it’s like his heart also smiles and he actually has a pretty smile. I don’t know how to describe it, lol. I’m just super thankful he took on this project before leaving for the military. Be safe sir! Hopefully if they do season 2 then they can wait for him to come back but I doubt there will be a season 2. It would be awesome to see PEB in a medical drama next.

I’m loving the drama so far even with the recent episodes. I just want a good ending since I doubt there will be a season 2 with KTO in the military. But yeah, the comments are quite interesting. Lol

It’s cause you have to remember that in this drama, YW does things differently. Even though they have been going out on dates and seeing each other on a daily basis, they haven’t officially talked about being together. She’s very smart when it comes to laws but very dense about love and other stuffs. So to us and JH, they are dating but to her, it’s probably something like feeling the water first before going through with it. So in this case, she turned back and decided not to go through with the relationship. This is why is isn’t as affected by it compare to JH, who was ready to give his all into this relationship.

But yes, I agree with you too. I’m over these so called “break up” in kdramas.

Totally agree…..most kdrama have this scene and then the couple end up together in the end. Except 2521 like you said. That drama….still upset me lol but I’m ok now.

For me, since they didn’t “officially dated” then the so called break up isn’t so much a break up but more like “ok we went on a few dates and I just don’t think I’m in a situation to be with you now” kind of situation. Sure she broke his heart and she’s confused herself but for me, it’s more like a miscommunication and misunderstanding that they will come around to resolve it later.

I expected the break up because every single kdrama has a break up or period where the leads are falling apart but get back later in the end. So I expected it.

The whole Attorney Jung’s illness was like something that came out of no where. Like what???? Couldn’t they have thrown in the nosebleed scene in earlier episodes to build up to his situation now.

Min woo….kdrama likes to use this bad to good character plotline. What I didn’t expect was the two girls falling for him. Like what???? He’s an asshole….you ladies blinded by his face? Even his normal stink face was annoying as heck. I don’t get it.

My guess is that he’s very confused. Remember his character is supposed to be this kind hearted person that volunteers with the disable. So his heart is soft and kind. Remember it took him a long time to accept his feelings for her because he knows that she’s not someone he can just date and break up with. He’s in it for the long run. As for YW, it’s all very new to her so she’s very confused but doesn’t know how to communicate with him. Remember how she used to call him and then hang up without asking him if he was ready to hang up. It’s these little kind of things that he has to help guide her during their relationship. So the fact that she broke it off without any explanation is making him heart broken and confused.

I kind of expected this week’s episodes to be like this. Very typical for Kdrama to have a break up and make up in the last 4 episodes. Better this week than next week. Can’t believe it’s ending soon. Yes, the first half of the drama was great, especially with their cases and storylines. The later half of the cases were kind of boring but I love the character development of JH and YW love line.

Lol, right….I was like wth??? But we still need to have a scene with her seeing the dolphins. My guess is that they will patch things up and JH will take her back to Jeju for honeymoon where they will see the dolphins…kdramas are usually like this with their endings. Remember, they are the whale couple for a reason. Lol
