I bingewatched the drama in the last four days. Very good production values, and a job well done by the cast and crew.

I was searching for this movie a month ago. I found it on YouTube Movies today. Glad to see Shin Hyun Joon headlining a period movie again. I watched him over the last two decades in movies, dramas and entertainment shows. Assassin is intense, with a lot of blood and casualties, as usual. I wish that Chilbok had survived. His mother was lovely. The actress is the best female actor in the cast.

I remember Ayunga. I watched some of his performances on YouTube last year.

I am on ep 7 now. I am guessing that Liu Yu Ning sings the opening song over the opening credits.

I don't like Jin Renfeng, but the actor is good looking and has an impressive resume: Jerry Huang graduated from Department of Civil Engineering at Southeast University of Science and Technology.

If Yitan and QInlan have a short lifespan in the past, could they stay in the future, and have their happy ending? He really missed his queue when he told her that he loved her lika little sister. (Insert face palm here.)

I am curious why Charles Lin (Jiu Huo) is listed in the middle of the supporting castlist. Coincidentally, he is also in the middle of the supporting cast list on the dramawiki page. He seems to be the primary villain in the plot. He should get a higher ranking in the castlist.

They are my favorite couple in this drama. No angst between them, and they are on the same page.

I recognized Mu Mie actor's face. I saw two of his dramas, but I don't remember his roles. Legend of Anle and Everlasting Longing!

That was surprising/not surprising. LOL I guess that was the only way she could revert to her old normal self. I didn't like her character change.

Dongfang Huai Zhu went off the demonic rails in Ep 16, but it looks like she recovered by the end of the episode. That storyline was getting extraneous. Every time Huai Zhu stabbed Wangquan Hongye, I cringed. Are they going back to the past, to try to change the future, or are they staying in the future (20 years later) to fight Jiu Huo? Sad to know Wangquan Qin Lan and Yang Yitan's fates!

They must have deleted some minutes from Ep 12. After I read your comment I noticed that most of the episodes are around 40 minutes. They shaved off five minutes from the standard 45 minutes. This must be a short drama, total lengthwise.
