Why does Zhuge Kong Yun wear Revlon deep red lipstick... which also matches his red outfit? His makeup, red dress and hairstyle always remind me of a vampire. The other men seem to be wearing a matching lipstick, but a lighter shade of red.

I don't know where the plot is going, but wouldn't it be funny if Zhuge's father was Yesha? I get confused watching scenes with Mr Zhong, Mr Zhuge and Mr Shen. They look around the same age, and look similar to each other. Mr Zhuge has the eyepatch.

Casting Zhou Ye and Bai Shu as siblings was a very good eye for detail. You can see a resemblance in some scenes.

I watched Season 1 four years ago, but didn't pick up Season 2 until last week (July 2025). The casting was very good. Acting performances were good, but some characters were overacting. Yuan Hao, Wang Ze Xuan and Yu Kai Ning made the hour pass by quickly. The only irrational behavior was when General Hua killed himself.

The acting by Qin's two sidekicks is OTP. Also the Prince's sidekick!

Yes! I think I might notice details that I missed the first time around. I just started Romance of Hua Rong Season 2, which I completely bypassed. After I finish it, I might rewatch Coroner's Diary.

I was also confused with some of the older men and the princes. It was a large castlist too.
