I have been debating when to watch this and I love Zhao Li Ying and enjoy her dramas, but should I start this…
In my opinion, its an addictive & engrossing drama. The script is very well written. I have watched 3 times now yet I still rewind certain scenes because the script can be profound, rich and layered. It is also excellently acted out. So you will come to love, care and hate certain characters, watch other character's development arch with deep satisfaction but it is a 73 episode drama, i anticipate you will be committed to this show. Start bearing this in mind. You have been warned
ML felt so guilty for something that was not his fault, knowing FL loved him , left her anyway so she could suffer more, to some warzone so she could be happy ? Beyond ridiculous. And there she went to a war zone on a hunch. At this point I was kinda hoping they both died in the warzone before ever reuniting. What do you think war is ? Some romantic spot? And that 3 billion won - what? Just give it to her before going to warzone wth. Just dumb. Who writes this?
Chill - i know its makjang to begin with, never said otherwise. But it had redeeming qualities , great acting and i wanted to give it a chance. Now that i have, its a solid 3 for me. Such a disappointing mess when there was so much potential.
Having read the book and how they adapted it this season, I'm not sure my heart can take season 3. My heart broke a million pieces finishing this book so other than another chance to brood over Hansu I'm not looking forward to Season 3
Went downhill from ep29 onwards. So UNsatisfying. To think this could be THE show of 2024! To think it could be the same standard as it's predecessor LLTG. Deeply disappointed.
ML to SFL "Your friend, don't do anything to hurt her" what kind of script is this? It could be so satisfying but it fell flat and even more infuriating. SFL to ML"Your home.Your situation. Everything. Its all poison. You are hurting her" Talk about gaslighting much! WTH They would have been Romeo and Juliet, if not for you B*tch ! This revelation could have been a zillion times more satisfying, such a waste of an opportunity to move the story forward. I was waiting for some sort of revelation but this is so badly written. Nothing redeeming. I just feel like ill be cheated if i continue to hope for a satisfying conclusion to this story. I dont trust this show at all. And 30ish education professionals so physically aggressive is ridiculous. To top that this frustrating dynamic to see ML and FL stick bickering and FL so abusive .... i cringe. FL finally admitting her feelings just wasnt redeeming, it still ran short for me. The setup could have been better for her to realise her feeling. I expected more.
