After watching DAYS to the bitter (and boring) end, this drama gives a master class in just about every area where…
I have to agree. I dropped DAYS because it was just not making sense eventhough kept hoping the next ep will change. I really do not like dramas that do not respect the intelligence of its viewers so consistently. Other than the OST, I feel it is overrated.
- Basically, Dam and her friends go on a trip. Shin Woo Yeo is sad because he can't come. (Plus Gye Seon Woo is…
"Dam tells SWY that it's not about the frequency of human interaction that makes him human. It's him having to act human that makes the marble blue. The "God"/deity told her this, and he is kinda frustrated that it took SWY 999 years to realize this. So Dam wants to teach SWY how to act more human...she's telling him to have fun more and eat out with people more." I love this plot mechanism but I wish it was naturally felt and led by Woo Yeo’s love for Dam rather than Dam having to intentionally lead him to be human. I find that more romantic and speaks in volumes to the testament of their love. I am hoping this will be how the dramawriters will deviate from the webtoon
My Ep 12 predictions :- My gut tells me Dam will not be swayed even after seeing the happy future she has in store for her with Sun Woo. That her love for Woo Yeo will overcome any destiny or fate. The kind of true love that even destiny or fate cannot come between. That Love transcends even the natural for the ill-fated. Love does not lie, it is not calculating, it just is. That's how I feel about the love between Dam and Woo Yeo. And it's going to be beautiful if the writers take this route.
I think the most painful thing for me about this episode and its hinted in ep 12 spoiler that Woo Yeo is most pitiful of them all. This is what I don't get when people say Dam and Woo Yeo is power unequal because he is a gumiho with powers. It isn't. Dam has always had the upper hand. Woo Yeo has always had to wrestle between being selfish, for the bigger picture and he has been choosing the bigger picture everytime forgoing his own happiness. It is Dam's true to herself, brutal honesty and courage that has given Woo Yeo any chance of happiness. I find this episode shows us that being a fox, that to receive love and to give love has been so difficult for him. So many obstacles and life and death decisions. That he envies human love. He envies Sun Woo. Who can love so easily - receive love and give love with abandon. This episode my heart aches for Woo Yeo. Carrying Dam in his arms helpless to stop Dam from seeing what could be beautiful with Sun Woo. I do hope no noble idiocy from Woo Yeo. That he will fight for Dam. He will fight for the love of his life.
I don't think that he change her memories, I interpreted as a dream of what you will have if you embrace your…
I don't think she will forget her memory. Mountain Spirit wants her to choose knowing that a future with Sun Woo is beautiful. A test of her love for Woo Yeo.
I thought episode 9's kiss was out of this world and in a sense it is. But I am truly blown away by the tender loving passionate kiss between Woo Yeo and Dam in episode 11. For a moment there, I thought they were lovers in real life. This is the best most tender and passionate kiss in kdramaland. Seeing the ep 9 BTS kiss, confirms Jang Ki Yong is the best kisser in kdramaland. However ep 11, I did not expect Hyeri to step up. Hyeri and Jang Ki Yong took it to the next level. It was like seeing fireworks long after they kissed. Mind blowing kiss. My heart be still. I'm in love with DamYeo. I want a love like theirs. Dramagods you are too cruel!!!
WHAT WAS THIS ENDING SCENE, this drama was supposed to be lighthearted. lee dam's memories are with seon woo?…
The ending scene is Mountain Spirit letting Dam see the future that's in store for her with Sun Woo. And twisty manipulative Mountain Spirit also showed Woo Yeo how good the relationship can be if she followed destiny with Sun Woo. This is something in reality we do not get to see. Mountain Spirit is doing everything he can to sway Dam. Of course, I feel this is a test for Dam to see how deep her love for Woo Yeo really is. If I predict right, the ultimate test to come is whether she would risk her own life for Woo Yeo - Romeo Juliet ( I know I'm a hopeless romantic) In a way she already is putting her well-being at risk but not her life per se. My gut tells me Dam will not be swayed. Did you see that kiss at his place in the blackout. That her love for Woo Yeo will overcome any destiny or fate. That will glorious for viewers like me to see. I want that grand love story. One that even destiny or fate cannot come between. That Love transcends even the natural for ill-fated. Love does not lie, it is not calculating, it just is. I just saw the BTS kiss scene! I need to go for confession. Is it hot in here? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Good Lord Jang Ki Yong can kiss. I need a fire hose!
Can I just say having rewatched it 3 times over that I super love Morgan and Ta Mi's long talks. Scriptwriter, I heart you!! OST was superb too and I thought the ending with Director Park's score for the game was such a simple but incredibly meaningful touch. Oh and the break up, his mother's funeral and receiving her last gift to him still tears me up every.damn.time Jang Ki Yong, you're not making it easy for me to move on.
Ep 11 preview is super cute, he is trying so hard to please her :-)
Omg Same. Dreading it. Otoke? Now I have trouble sleeping, too excited. Once Thursday's episode is done, I'm going to get a kdrama hangover that would last a whole week.
