Yes exactly no clingy misleading frustration. Yes a breath of fresh air seldom seen in kdrama land. I love that it's light and pace is fast. So satisfying when he finds out so cleverly that her memory wasn't wiped out so quickly, the sweet confession that came after that, the holding hands and even the Hye Sun being an ex gumiho was revealed so quickly and done so well. I was clapping to it like an idiot 🤪. Definitely this drama is keeping me engaged. The week went so slow and I'm always looking for spoilers 🤣 Whats next: The possibility seem endless and so much potential that I'm nervously excited. I can't wait for the next episode but I'm nervous that this drama crack is going to give withdrawal symptoms when it ends. This is definitely Jang Ki Yong's Year and he so deserves it. I can't see eoreushin/professor Shin/evil Maegu/gumiho-with-a-hunger as anyone else but him. Kudos to the casting team and all involved. I've already rewatch 3 times of episode 9. Still fawning all over it. Can't wait how tomorrow goes! Fingers crossed.

I previously thought episode 8 was the best episode but episode 9 takes the cake. I love that the memory issue was quickly resolved - no long drawn out misunderstandings. And the way it was resolved was nicely done. I feel this episode hit alot of high points. It had the best confession ever. Heart racing, sweet and direct! I love it. The hand kiss is genius. It is the sweetest, most romantic goodnight kiss in kdramaland. Their first date will stay with me a long time. It was funny, nostalgic and just the right dose when they realise how much they both like each other and gave us a glimpse of their cutest first date. And there's that kiss... what can I say. Jang Ki Yong has got to be the best kisser to pull off lovingly passionate to animalistic intensity. That plot twist is daebak... now how are they going to resolve this? Probably there will be angst, hurt feelings coming round the bend to get us there. 7 episodes left and I'm already afraid to miss this drama.. I just hope there is a happy ending. Praying to Drama Gods. Theories about what's going to unfold :-*The random man at the bus who stared at Dam - seems sinister - either it's the shape-shifting God who is not happy Hyeri is interfering into Gumiho's natural order? Or he is Hyeri's Dad who is a Gumiho? Her Dad is mysteriously absent from the show. And there's the fact that both her mom and Dam are immune to the memory wipe. *Dam in danger that Gumiho might not be able to control his animal instincts and consume all her human energy. I think this is plot point where they get to show Gumiho's inner conflict between love and his primal animal instinct to consume. I would love to see that character arch from Animal cold Gumiho to Human tenderness Woo Yeo because of his love for her. Will there be a cost to this? I hope not. But which greatest love story has no cost/sacrifice ? *The blue bead - Another plot angst is will he never turn human, turn into a maegu because he has already taken back the red bead and no longer looking for another human to give him the blue bead because he loves Dam. If Dam finds out he will turn to a murderous monster if he doesn't turn human how will she feel? Dam might be that special girl to turn him human but how will it happen and at what cost???? What do you think? 🤔

By the looks of it, he plays the rich playboy who can get anyone he wants. I actually appreciate his character arch. I'm looking forward to Sun Woo getting his a$$ kicked by Dam & Professor Shin and changing him to be a better man. That's his journey I would love to see.
