I really liked Falling Before Fireworks, where he played the ML. If you don't mind dramas that are a bit more…
thanks for the recs! i've seen the MDL page of that drama but it looks like a full length drama so i thought i'd just try the short ones first ahah. after this maybe i'll try that one
I came here after finishing the love you give me and i was curious with chen xin hai. Finding out that this has a reference to a familiar stranger was a nice surprise! But i just watched the first episode and i'm a bit confused. Just a question to anyone who has watched it until the final, does this have a happy ending?
Ah, but i forgot to add that i appreciate how this drama is not dubbed. It's really nice to listen to their real…
Yeah i get that now, it's just that i am not familiar with both actresses so for me they look very similar so i was confused XD now that i watched it again i finally see they're two different persons lol.
I have just watched dylan's drama twice, the rational life and lbfad. In rational life he was playing his age…
Ah, but i forgot to add that i appreciate how this drama is not dubbed. It's really nice to listen to their real voice cause that will definitely resonate better with the emotions on screen. Also my girl shi yue, i almost forgive you for being a mistress just for that one line appreciating miles voice. Yas. Definitely here for more appreciation to my man's heavenly voice. Talk about the cheating though, did shi you broke up with him? I mean i'm glad that i don't have to see this cheater ex but also i hope the drama gave him an appropriate repercussion for being a cheater. And for shi yue too, i need her identity as the mistress being exposed soon so we can move on with everyone's character develompment.
I have just watched dylan's drama twice, the rational life and lbfad. In rational life he was playing his age so he was pretty much killing it with his natural charm. In lbfad, he also managed to pull the two different personas quite well, though all the make up and wardrobes and cgi definitely helps. Now this one, well. He wasn't bad. But definitely need a lot of hard work to age him up. Wardrobe is pretty meh. But this is episode 8 and we haven't got more than him glowering and slightly smirking. Bailu is pretty much in her element though and i have no complaints whatsoever. As for the story, despite starting hard with all the tension and bussiness jargon, is getting repetitive. I am not familiar with this field so i can't talk much about the bussiness side. The romance is also moving very slow. But i guess with 36 episodes and paper thin premise, they can only stretch it so far. I just wish things will get more exciting, soon.
Following. I want to know what is happening too, but doesn’t the director and producers have the final say of…
Yeah. I did not quite understand or there could be something lost in translation. But to me it sounds like she wants to claim some credits but also complaining that the final script has been altered too much from her draft? That did not quite make sense to me. I hope someone with better understanding from the original news source could explain it.
Dropping by to check if anyone's talking about the writer suing the drama(!?) That's wild stuff, but probably also validating many people's frustations about the writings.
Coming here after watching the guo jun chen in su yu and it almost gave me a whiplash lol. He's so gentle and, of course, much more reserved here. Surprisingly I did not even complain about how platonic their (eventual) relationship is because it does not feel out of character for them. A pretty easy watch. I have no complaints because I watched it for free ahaha.
it's even available on wetv for free (idk if it's a temporary thing or not though, for now it's free), with considerably better subs compared to mangotv
Or living with their maternal grandparents. His parents probably realized that it's a much better environment for a child to grow up than their current predicament 😬
The poignancy of the last episodes is that, we all saw it coming, but it still hurts nonetheless. We knew you…
Tbh i also appreciate how they bother to make a point about facing failures. In a way, man er and you heng are both start up bussiness(wo)man. Having them learning the ropes, taking risks, faced with multiple obstacles and failure; not every drama give this much chance for their character to grow. Especially a drama that tried to market itself as a lighthearted rom com.
The poignancy of the last episodes is that, we all saw it coming, but it still hurts nonetheless. We knew you heng will stay friendzoned, but his sad puppy eyes after coming back from setting up the fireworks, only to find man er with shen nuo... And we knew that everyone in that darned family is unhingedly shameless and disloyal; we saw them selling a girl to pay for a bracelet; we all saw them blaming a woman for having miscarriage! But seeing them willing to sell their daughter to avoid punishment, all in broad daylight with plenty of witnesses! Even though we know ye er would be better off living with man er's family, it's still heartbreaking watching her feeling abandoned by her family..
To be fair, i'd be annoyed to if my relative just plainly start selling their product on my wedding... Not to the point calling her a pig though. I mean, it kinda is her mission so i guess she might be kinda desperate and overzealous at this point. Still, she has to deal with the robbery, that counts as a repercussions, i think.
