Had the same thought, when FL arrived in what seemed PJ's. Like she's imagining those sessions. Which also raises…
I suspect the secretary givng her the wrong med. I just don’t get why she doesn’t see a psychiatrist. I mean it’s 2024, there should be no stigma enough to neglect treatment
OMG! This theory is awesome!!! Right now it makes totally sense. Somehow i still do not understand why he did…
Thats true, but why would the husband show up to her office and have a video of himself at home playing with the little? thats like intentionally telling her that the video is fake. Unless if he is trying to gaslight her into thinking she is crazy.
Here is my theory: The little girl is actually the bestfriend's daughter with the husband.
The husband and best friend were in a relationship before he met the FL and the best friend got pregnant; she couldn't tell her parents because the Dad already saw her as a failure, so she had to hide it and couldn't raise the child.
The two lovers formulated a plan for the guy to marry the FL using his brother's identity, since he was no longer around. Then he convinced the FL to adopt a child and have her raise their biological daughter instead. They planned to wait until her company became successful before they kill her and removed her from the picture. Or make her go crazy enough for her to lose her company and divorce her and gain custody of the daughter.
The best friend wasn't talented enough to start her own successful company even with her father's influence, so it was better for her to just steal one that had already been made a success by the FL. hubby would gain both custody and her wealth or half, and the two lovers can reunite and raise their child together.
However, things didn't go according to plan, and in the midst of years of living together, hubby fell in love with the FL and now doesn't want to break his happy family apart.

The Bestie noticed that the hubby is losing interest in her or in the original plan and he is reluctant to plan for a future together with her. So, the BF hired the company's employee to kill the FL and her lover back.
There is also a possibility of the twin actually still being around, stalking & watching his brother live with his identity & wanting to live that life. So the husband might actually be a good guy who originally approached the FL with bad intentions, and the other stalking twin is the antagonist.
Idk about the step dad though. Maybe found out the truth and is blackmailing the husband?
Woo! If you told me this drama was going to be this good from the first 5 weeks of airing, I wouldn't have believed you. This drama is like the poetic therapy i didn't know I needed. The FL is is stronger than many people give her credit.
Part of the reason she is afraid of Yong Pil's dad is that she doesn't want her mother to be plagued by guilt. The love this family has for each other is so wholesome. They are each so incredibly considerate from the parents to the grandchild.
The frustration with the FL in the comments is... frustrating. Yes, she is messy, unable to think clearly, and…
I largely agree that her mental illness maybe the reason why she is lacking coping mechanisms to navigate the stress she is experiencing. If thats the fact then she was irresponsible to have a child before addressing these issues. Knowing about the stalker too. Her judgement cant be trusted.
you know in the horror movies whe. white people follow the direction where the suspicious noise is? that is exactly this woman. she has no safety awareness. What good is all that money and success if you end up dead and your child loses their mother?
take a sabbatical from work, get a bodyguard and a neutral agency to investigate everyone around her. Take an overseas trip with your daughter.
Poor Sangdo lives in his own world, so its shocking when he notices everything doesn't revolve around him. It's an interesting crisis for a 40-year-old to experience, but then again, in comparison to Yongpal's dad, it's not too bad. Even now, he can still just confess, like he had the opportunity to do for 20 years. Rejection is a normal part of life, we all grow from it.
He has an inability to recognize the bond and friendship she has with Yongpal to be too deep with an unshakable foundation. He is unable to have a serious discussion with Yongpal or Samdal and ask them why things ended. Even Yongpal's other two friends are able to recognize his sacrifices, which makes his character flaws even more apparent.
The lead character is a little annoying. I hate saying this to my hubby PSJ because I am a forever supporter, but his character in What Wrong with Secretary King is nearly identical and slightly more mature. His character is also the same in the soccer coach movie. Difference in modern times it has its charms but in Joseon times where the line between surviving and being murdered is thin, there is ZERO charm to the character. Also everything happening in Gaza made the scenarios too real to just pass his character as just fictional so lets just grab the popcorn and enjoy. I do think I will enjoy part 2 much more than part 1 because he has a strong character development.
