The level of unhingedness this drama has become :D. I'm scared to keep watching, but also, I can't stop watching. Am I normal?

I am not a psychiatrist so I am not going to speak on it like an expert but based on the research I just did usually Bipolar disorder I memory loss is closely associated with the person's mood. In a non manic phase the memory loss should be subtle. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule but I guess we'll find out.

At this point, the story has gone beyond thriller. It's now Makjang. WTF you expect me to believe that there is a mental disorder that is not a split personality where someone can shut down their memory?
Also why go through the pain of revenge when you knew you wanted to keep the child? how did you plan to negotiate that?
Also now she cares about her family when she has been neglecting them all this time? girl...

omg I think so too that the bestfriend is the the mother of the girl which further exmplains why she is so resentful to her.

Here is my theory:
The little girl is actually the bestfriend's daughter with the husband.

The husband and best friend were in a relationship before he met the FL and the best friend
got pregnant; she couldn't tell her parents because the Dad already saw her as a failure, so she had to hide it and couldn't raise the child.

The two lovers formulated a plan for the guy to marry the FL using his brother's identity, since he was no longer around. Then he convinced the FL to adopt a child and have her raise their biological daughter instead.
They planned to wait until her company became successful before they kill her and removed her from the picture. Or make her go crazy enough for her to lose her company and divorce her and gain custody of the daughter.

The best friend wasn't talented enough to start her own successful company even with her father's influence, so it was better for her to just steal one that had already been made a success by the FL.
hubby would gain both custody and her wealth or half, and the two lovers can reunite and raise their child together.

However, things didn't go according to plan, and in the midst of years of living together, hubby fell in love with the FL and now doesn't want to break his happy family apart.

The Bestie noticed that the hubby is losing interest in her or in the original plan and he is reluctant to plan for a future together with her.
So, the BF hired the company's employee to kill the FL and her lover back.

There is also a possibility of the twin actually still being around, stalking & watching his brother live with his identity & wanting to live that life.
So the husband might actually be a good guy who originally approached the FL with bad intentions, and the other stalking twin is the antagonist.

Idk about the step dad though. Maybe found out the truth and is blackmailing the husband?

Woo! If you told me this drama was going to be this good from the first 5 weeks of airing, I wouldn't have believed you. This drama is like the poetic therapy i didn't know I needed.
The FL is is stronger than many people give her credit.

Part of the reason she is afraid of Yong Pil's dad is that she doesn't want her mother to be plagued by guilt. The love this family has for each other is so wholesome. They are each so incredibly considerate from the parents to the grandchild.

I largely agree that her mental illness maybe the reason why she is lacking coping mechanisms to navigate the stress she is experiencing. If thats the fact then she was irresponsible to have a child before addressing these issues. Knowing about the stalker too. Her judgement cant be trusted.
