PS: I wonder if you support the bloodshed of Islamic people by those that believe they should die for 9/11. Those people too believe their cause and revenge is just. or The people who attack Asian people because "they caused the pandemic" and lost their family members to it. they too believe they should rise above the law. Anyone can reason killing in the name of revenge.

"democracy is majority opinion; personal judgements and standards "imposed" by the majority on themselves and minorities"
That is not the meaning of democracy. You can have a majority's opinion in a socialist nation that does not practice democracy. Democracy is a structure in which the government is designed by the people, led by the people, serving the people.
"people are shades of grey" sure but im not so sure just because some people lie or cheat they deserve a war unleashed upon them when they have nothing to do with it. Civilians including children are still innocent.
Based on your username I did assumed you are from a country that respected human rights but that was an error on my part. أنا أعتذر However as awful as it is for a group of protestors to be shot at and inhumane as it is inexcusable as it is. I find it insulting that you compared it kids in school being abducted, assaulted, and butchered. In my opinion, yes you are a stranger to blood.
I once volunteered for the Veterans affairs one summer and you know what one man who was part of the vietnamese war said?
"I remember killing many people, not their faces, I took away fathers, sons and husband away from their families but I don't remember any of it. I believed I was doing it for my country. That is how easy it becomes to kill when you believe your reason is just". I imagine that is how terrorist groups feel too, that they are fighting for a greater purpose until that purpose is lost in the bloodshed.
There is a reason why the symbol of justice is a balancing scale
My point is that it is easy to promote bloodshed until you have witnessed it with your own eyes. Until it is attached to the death of friends you played in the streets after school. When every night their lifeless bodies appear in your dreams. Until you need something to numb yourself into forgetting and holding your anger inside to keep you from going crazy. I genuinely hope that you have the opportunity to see what I have seen. Then we can have this discussion again.
Also If i commit a crime knowing the country's laws of that crime. If I am found guilty beyond reasonable doubt then yes, a jury should have the right to find me guilty. I became a proud citizen of this country knowing this fact.
Its a good concept..but it can be dangerous..if not..all countries will hv a gaetal. Korea just got a case similar…
Personal judgement is clouded by emotion. The judicial system is guided by law enforced by the people that is how democracy works. Without order we would live in anarchy. Its not okay for someone to kill for revenge we are not Gods who dictate who should live or die. Governments can be corrupt yes but at least they are checks and balances, at least they are voted in by the people and can be removed by the people depending on the country.
I have lived in a country without order, and watched friends kidnapped by a group of people who believed they should take the law into their own hands. Neighbouring towns massacred. I have escaped a country filled with bloodshed of its citizens. It is not until you have experienced chaos that you appreciate a moment of quietness. Ask any refugee.
Yes bloodshed is a way to enact social reform, but it should always be the last resort. Bloodshed or war should be a means of survival. Do you know who suffers the most during bloodshed? civilians, innocent people without power to protect themselves, become victims of men flexing their power. Many people are so envigorated by war and revolution that they forget the disabled people, the veterans suffering from PTSD on the streets dependent on drugs and shrinking from the noise that reminds them of the battleground. The privilege of having a functional police force and one that can be held accountable for the people. That is a privilege I noticed many people don't know they have.
I can't speak for other countries, but in America, it's not the government or the judges that pass a guilty or not guilty verdict. It is the people. The judge only passes a sentence. There is no perfect government but a government that can vote people in and out of power is a very beautiful one.

Punishment requires guidelines by law and order, neutral unaffected parties making judgement. Gaetal is not neutral and they are emotional which clouds people's judgement. Its the responsibility of each citizen to vote for representatives that align with their views and lobby for laws that benefit their safety and well being. If Gaetal is left alone, many people will begin to feel motivated to take the law into their own hands after being inspired by him. The level of power and influence he has that is not guided by law can easily be abused in a negative emotional state. He is highly organized and considerate of public opinion right now but humans are flawed and power changes people. Everything needs a system of checks and balances.
Maybe that boy is not so innocent. He might also involved in the rape and murder case.Point (1) agree partially..i…
I guess it’s true that KSJ might not have known until after he had already killed the wrong person. however I still feel like he and KMC are working together. Either way KMC is definitely pulling some strings behind the scenes and probably triggered the chain of events somehow. He was too angry at the verdict and was against the way the legal system handled the case.
My theory is that Kim Moo Chan and Park Sung Woong dont actually hate each other and have planned this for years. Their interactions are a little suspicious in a way that seems orchestrated. (1) We don't actually see how they had a falling out. It also makes sense for PSW to be mad at the one person who did everything to solve his daughter's death and who was angry at the lack of justice. (2) The way KMC agreed for PSW to get out in order to help out with the case, and on top of it made Joo Hyun take him to the hospital despite her protest. Only for him to conveniently escape. KMC has thus far had an impressive track record of catching all his suspects and getting them to admit their guilt. He is suddenly stupid and making mistakes makes absolutely no sense. Even a high school student knows more than him?
(3) KMC intentionally lied to the public to make them lose trust in the police seems like a plan to expose how corrupted the organization is when he and PSW go after the assemblywoman and the Police Superintendent. If they are willing to lie and fake an officer's death, it is easy to believe they are used to lying and being corrupt.
(4) I also believe that he intentionally used the Anchorwoman to be part of his lie for a reason. It looks like she too is corrupted and in the future, it will be easier to show how the media is in cahoots with the police to fool the public with their corruption.
Some flaws to this theory though is that it means PSW killed an innocent person knowingly and that doesn't make any sense according to the "Justice is Rational".
Unless if the boy unalived himself from the torture he experienced from the psycho mom-son duo and his parents who had a good relationship with PSW decided to join hands and plot revenge by making it look like PSW killed him and let him go to prison to privately plot in the safety of a guarded prison. Its a flawed theory but I am suspicious.
Also PSW spoke fondly of the boy's parents so it seems they would have a good enough relationship
also how did the psycho son get involved with PSW and KMC's plan?
I forgot how frustrating Jing's storyline in the book was. I jumped shipped to Xiang Lu because of his loyalty to his family. Jing needs a little bet of CX's bravery and XL's daring.
He doesnt really follow her but fate brings them together. Xiang Liu's main focus is his people so most of the…
The scene you are talking about is when they see each other again after she becomes a princess. But you what? now that you said that they might deviate from the book. In the book she doesn't see him again because she spends more time with her family. But the book is really long and already they sped Jing's timeline so far. So I can see them doing the same for XL
she loves xl but because they can't be together she settles for Jing or does she develop feelings for him later…
I think she is developing feelings for XL because they are similar in how they are alone and lonely they are in the world. She bares her soul to him and can share what is in her heart without restraint. She has not been able to do so with Jing.
