Episode 15 is here and I believe more than ever that HyunSeung deserves much better. I wish she NEVER came back. I wish she left him alone. :( This drama was so real until episode 14 happened and everything started to become too Kdramatically illogical and fairytale-like. Preview looks so fluffy, they are already back together. I never disliked a happy ending like this one. Bye.

Yes true. Honestly, I don't want them to end up together and one of the reasons is that there are only 2 episodes left. He did his best for 14 episodes and she will just be given 2 episodes to fix it all. Why is it so easy for her to get what she wants? I can already feel the rushed ending and I don't think I can accept that.

True. MLs don't even try to do anything but in a blink of an eye FLs fall for them. *facepalm* Hyunseung is admirable for his patience & honesty.

- Extraordinary You: The ML (the same actor from here rowoon) is head over heels for the FL. He likes her from the very beginning without knowing why (you'll get to know later why he's like this) and even before she knows about his existence. His sacrifices for her are truly huge and his love for her was really pure. His world literally revolves around her. Not a slow burn.

- Hospital Ship: A love story between a doctor (ML) & a surgeon (FL). He is much younger than her. He likes her a lot and he waited for her until she accepted his heart. Yes... I can say it is a slow burn.

- Empress Ki: The emperor loved his court lady a lot while she hated him a lot for reasons ofc. It was so beautiful watching her slowly falling for him & even helping him to rule the country. Here too, the relationship developped pretty slowly but surely.

Now that you asked, I realized that there are no many dramas where the ML loves the FL first and is willing to wait for her. Wow we really need more of that. It's usually the SML who gets the patience virtue in kdramas. He is also always the one to love unconditionally. It's so refreshing to see MLs with SMLs characteristics.

You are right. There's no way she cheated on him. This sounds so out of character. I think she didn't have much time to communicate with her bf in Korea and I have a feeling she said some harsh words like "You're being a burden and I can't do this anymore". I really hope drama doesn't make her break up with him just because she feels guilty towards him.

I'd love to see that girl-to-girl talk. HyunSeung's secret admirer & best friend VS HyunSeung's ex. I don't know if she will talk to her to help her get back to HyunSeung or to convince her to leave him alone because he's suffered enough.

All her scenes are basically showing her as the secret admirer of HyunSeung who understands him so well and worries about him. I really want to see more of her in the last two episodes.

I don't think SeRim will ever confess but she will still take care of him. I hope drama shows us a scene where she comforts him after the break up with SA. I hope we also get a scene where SR talks to SA and reveals how much he suffered. If she doesn't get any of these scenes, I don't see why she even exists (the character). My hopes are high because she's now working now at the same office as HS's

She's not being bashed for her decision to go abroad. She's mainly "bashed" for it's clear that the break up happened because of her and she's now back to win him back. That's so selfish of her. And it's not the first time she acts selfishly. She is also disliked for not putting much effort into the relationship.
According to my standards, what she did was wrong for the reasons I stated. True that I'm projecting my own experience and views on her but I can't lie to myself by saying she wasn't wrong.
Now, just because I'm not siding with her, it doesn't mean that I'm disrespecting her. It's a discussion after all and I'm just giving my opinion. In real life, I could care less lol

Not all women of the 21st century don't dream of relationship as their end goal. We are different, our circumstances are different, our needs are different and the people around us are different. In this situation here, I think all of us are not being objective. Women who are career-oriented would cheer for SongAh's decision while women who are love/family-oriented don't support her decision and I think I am Type 2. To me, job is not a priority. I care more for the people around me. This is not weakness. This is my happiness. I also have a friend who wants to find the love of her life and another friend who just wants to have her own little family. We are all working women but work is not our life goal.

I'm not so fond of SongAh's decision to go abroad for many reasons:
One, her mother is sick and a mother can never be replaced if gone.
Two, her workaholic nature. She's already not doing much for the relationship while near, imagine the situation while she's abroad. She will probably end up ignoring his calls and considering him a burden.
Three, she asked him not to be distant yet she is the one now who wants to be distant. Not to mention her selfishness when she thought she could take such a big decision on her own even though it was going to affect them both.
Four, usually people who are too ambitious don't go for long-term relationships because it's hard for them to balance work & love since dreams and work are always their priorities. Love is at the bottom of the list. So it is unfair to your partner.
Five: 5 years? C'mon, who can survive a long-distance relationship for 5 long years? Even a couple that had been dating for years would find that difficult & almost impossible. SongAh & HyunSeung have just started dating. Like a month or two ago. To me her decision to go abroad for 5 years was already a death sentence to their relationship.
Anyways, from a love/family-oriented person's perspective, she is wrong. Meanwhile, from a career-oriented person's perspective, she is right.

Yes ofc I want him to learn to love himself too. Maybe travelling is a good idea. It will help him discover himself more. Also, it looks like he spends more time with his friends now? That's awesone too.
As for SeRim, yes sure. I don't want her to be the rebound girl in any way. She's too kind and sweet for this. And I don't think HyunSeung would ever do anything that could hurt her. It's just my wish for them to end up together. She was always there for him. During both of his break ups but she never took advantage of the situation to force her one-sided love on him. She even protected him by telling him not to be too obvious when he was in a secret relationship with SongAh. She is just like him, her love is pure and beautiful and HONESTLY he deserves to be with someone like her.

It will be a hard task to break those walls especially if she messed up big time.

Same. I want her to find a hobby & why not open a business. She's more than capable. I remember she said she was academically successful so yes girl you can do it. I fully support her. The kid... Hmmmm... I don't think she will be that affected. Her parents are not in bad terms and they will find a way to give their child the normal life she deserves.

Judging from HyunSeung's reaction & expressions at the end of Ep14, it's either SongAh was the one at fault thus the break up happened or there was no mutual consent about the break up. Either way, I think it's better for SongAh to leave him alone now and not to "chase" him or else she will be no different than his ex. It's just selfish from her to want him back while he is trying to move on. She shouldn't do this to him again. I hate the "now I have time for you, let's date again" attitude. Nope, it's just not right.
However, since this is a kdrama, she will try to get closer to him despite of the pain she had obviously caused him and he will eventually forgive and they will be back together.
All I hope for is that HyunSeung wouldn't be that easy to get. She really has to work hard to mend his heart and trust. I also want him to be strict with her just like when he pushed his ex away. Even if it's only for a short while. I hope during that one year of break up, he learnt how to love himself more than anyone and anything else. I hope he realized his self-worth. I'm happy to see him ignoring her in the preview. I know he hasn't fully moved on and he will just be pretending that he doesn't care about her existence but that needs to be done. He shouldn't act as if nothing happened.
Anyways, here's my perfect happy ending: They don't end up together. She gets all the promotions she wants and he gets married to his short-haired best friend SeRim. Yeay!!!
