pls, give more good character to rowoon, he's useless in here :((
I have to agree. Regardless of Rowoon's good performance, I'm starting to feel that his character is weak compared to the other characters. I hope he's got a past too, and some twists in the future episodes.

What if Joseon husband is Ryung Goo? We also know he's searching for someone. I'm torn between her former lover…
Well, he might be the lover but not the person she has to save. That would be nice, I think.

Well, I don't mind if he's someone we don't know, but the way kdramas have been dealing with such stories, I am almost sure it is one of the leads. Probably JoongGil because he 'hates' those who commit suicide. GooRyeon cut the connection with her loved one when she committed suicide and she seems sad about not being able to redeem that. As for RyunGoo, not sure tbh.

Yeah Ep5 was really good. So, it seems like GooRyun and JoongGil had a past he doesn't remember while she does. They definitely had a child because they were adults when she committed suicide. Is this drama pulling a Mystic Pop Up Bar with a twist? And I hope the joseon guy is not Joonwoong cz if he is... C'mon... Btw, gotta say that I LOVE the supernatural element in this drama. It's so well-done. Plus, that fight between JoongGil and RyonGoo was amazing.

Am I the only one who really do like Joong Woong's character? I know he seems too nice, or too goofy, and is always…
I super love him. Without him, the drama would have been too dark and hard to watch.

something we least expected person she need to save is could be choi joon woongI'm might be wrong😅
That's my question too. If it's Joonwoong, then he must be related to her death in the past.

I loved the FL and ML...until the ML turned into a brainlet. I have to disagree with it being well written. The…
Honestly I'm at episode 14 and I have to agree with the teaching part and the love story that I don't even know how it started. They are cute and all but they skipped important stages in the relationship. About the political part, I haven't seen anything serious yet. Hope it's not as bad as you say omg. So far, I like ML and I wouldn't want him to die so 'pointlessly'.

But Joonwoong is a positive person... Could it be that something would happen and change his mindset? Interesting.

This drama is all about balance. The right amount of dark and the right amount of humor. Brilliant combination to be honest. Episode 3 was great in terms of literally everything. The characters, including the coldest ones GuRyeon and Grim Reaper JoongGil, are easy to like. I hope there was a past connection between the 3 main leads GuRyeon, JoonWoong and JoongGil. One that is similar to that of Mystic Pop Up Bar. I highly appreciate such plot twists. I would like to see JoongGil and GuRyeon's hearts soften with the help of JoonWoong's affectionate actions. I saw a hint of care in JoongGil's attitude tonight and I liked that.

So far, so good. I am exceptionally fond of JoonWoong. Putting aside that it's Rowoon (<3), the character's way of healing people is just something I need to learn. Given that I, personally, am not an emotionally expressive person, and more like a rational human being who finds it hard to deal with people's heart and weak emotional states, I think this drama will be an eye-opener for me. Now, for people questioning Ryun's words and way, honestly I have to say that I understand her. People, like her and myself, think that pushing people to the edge by challenging them and speaking to their reason, is the best way to back them away from making decisions based on emotions. Iy is not that we don't value their feelings, it is just that we believe making them confront harsh reality and voicing out the thoughts they have in mind so they can assess them rationally, are what we think they really need in weak times. I believe that Ryeon cares and values EunBi's feelings. Of course, some viewers might not like her way, and might thibk she was senseless. However, in reality, it is her way to show her concern. When I listened yo her speaking, I thought "wow, is this how harsh I sound when I tell people to stop being drama queens or to stop wasting time crying and find a solution instead". I admit that I had to rethink my way. Emotions for people like us are confusing in general, so a highly emotional situation like this one is almost a freakin' nightmare. We want to show concern and care, but all we can do is say harsh "rational" words hopefully we can help. I rarely cry, but when Joonwoong came with the comedian, I shed a tear seeing the impact of his thoughtful action. I hope drama keeps up the good work. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

Title The Red Sleeve Spoiler
Just completed this drama. My favorite scene was when Concubine Deok Im bid farewell to her old self the courtlady. This transition point felt so real as if it was my own. The only time I shed a tear in this drama. Honestly, at first I couldn't quite understand why she refused to cede her courtlady life and become her lover's concubine. I thought she was just being stubborn. I hated the way she acted because he truly loved her and was sincere. Except for the forceful kiss in the library he was just great. (Kdramas need to stop that asap) So the drama did great job in explaining me her viewpoint, her fears and worries. I was totally convinced. She lost that little freedom she had as a concubine and I could totally feel her pain. Though, I think that San did his part as a husband just as much as he could. I also respect him as a king, he recognized the weight of his position and did work for the best of his people. I give this drama an 8 because the political plots and schemes were a bit weak an messy. The "enemies" were also not that threatening, and yes not so convincing. I'm more into serious saeguks. That is why. Happy that this was Lee JunHo's comeback drama.

Without all the drag, 8 episodes would have been enough to tell the whole story. I was mostly interested in the fantasy element. Other than that, everything seemed off to me.

The colors in this drama are fascinating. The chemistry of the cast is as great as it was during childhood days. I like this A LOT.

Title The King's Affection Spoiler
How does everyone in this drama have chemistry with everyone? There's something magical about the characters to be honest. Not just the leads but literally everyone. From the court ladies to the royalties to the villains. I think it's all thanks to the well-done introduction of the characters in the premise. The children did great job as well, they made me anticipate the love of the adults. Btw, Jiwoon is totally different from the ML in the manhwa MiSu. I didn't see this coming lol Jiwoon seems to be playful and cheerful whereas MiSu is a dark sad character. Now that one HUGE change. I have to say too that Park EunBin rock in that King outfit. She's oozing with charisma. The last scene of Ep2 was splendid. I can't wait to see the rest of their serendipitous encounter :)♡
