It’s obvious when you take into account his personality. He's just not as expressive as Jeongyo but his eyes and actions say it all.
You don’t spend years searching and yearning for someone, almost getting yourself killed by getting angry at an armed guy and his gang cuz you learn his death and then grieving to the point of not being able to go on and feeling that guilty if you don’t love them. You don’t let them destroy you in the name of revenge and confess a crime you did not commit and go to jail to help them move on if you don’t love them. Even in the end, when all was said and done and he was finally at peace, he still couldn’t let go of him and searched for him.
And even before that, the gesture with the candles, the tender and affectionate way he helped him on the stage when he had his eyes covered, the way he always watched him and smiled brightly only to him, come on, that’s love.
The ending kind of reminds me of The Untamed. Queer-coded bromance dramas really typically only having tragic…
I just thought about it suddenly but did you watch Justice in the dark ?
It was a bromance too cuz of censorship but very well done and satisfying. It ended not that long ago (like last year I think) and we almost didn’t get to see the ending (It gave me hope for Winner is King)... Personally it’s one of my fav.
She should atone for life for what she did and she would if she had a shred of decency and empathy and was able…
She should have been the one disappearing and hiding herself in a church in Europe for life after her time in jail, with or without her teacher I don’t care, after having cut ties with Pio definitely...

Yeah I know, I was really expecting some of them (especially the adaptation of Stars of Chaos) but I can't regret World of Honor, it’s my favourite c-drama, I really loved it.
well thats really unrealistic…. nerve can never heal so the best happy ending for him was finding partner and…
Yes, I wish they showed us more of this life but I think it was to make us stress until the end wether we would see him again and reunite with Pio or not...

Yeah I know but did they need to go that far after all they’ve done during the all show to tone it down. Lan Zhan having this job in the end rather than going on a trip with his "friend" didn’t suit him and dudn’t respect the character at all.
There are chinese drama that respected way more the original novel like World of honor (although I honestly don’t know how they did to pass chinese censorship.with this one)
It’s been years I haven’t seen a k-drama that good... I was thinking the k-dramas the last few years were kind of boring and uninspired...
And the actors were exceptional and fascinating, especially the two main leads, their best work so far, they have given life to Pio and Jeongyo and to their wonderful bond.

I had hope when she said to Pio he should forget she's his mom but nope 🤷♀️
Hope we will see more of Lee Jun Young in this kind of role too.
If they could make another drama together as main leads that would be great !
