Title Yummy Yummy Yummy Spoiler
Question for everyone: despite the disappointing ending, is it still worth finishing? I'm currently on episode…
Yes, you'll have plenty of good moments, but if you don't want to be sad, watch up to episode 31, when they finally get married. It's a celebratory moment where everyone is reunited. You won't miss anything by not watching episode 32. Everyone will return to modern times and forget everything they've experienced, with the exception of LY, who will live a long, lonely life, never marry again, and die old and alone (in the story, he suffered the loss of his parents, and the series gives him such a stupid ending). In the future, he will reappear, a fact that suggests he was reincarnated, and he will meet up with SSG again. They smile at each other, and The End.

From Where did you all watched the ending can someone please give me a link
Here you have the description of the ending illustrated with the scenes, it is in Mandarin, but Google translates it into your language. If you are using the MDL app, the link may not work (the app does not open certain links), so open the MDL page on the web with the title of the series, look for this comment on the page and open the link there.https://www.163.com/dy/article/KCECU55I0539OAT3.html

Does anyone have a link to the OST (Traveler in the Mortal World by Curley Gao) with the rap in it? I can't find…
In this link (it's from the same site I mentioned) you can listen to the song (with translation), but without the rap mix...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCCPs5arXJE

IMOP this is the best site for OSTs of any series. You can contact the person in charge (who is always here at MDL, posting the links to the OST of each series) and ask for the link. By the way, the song mixed with rap is amazing! https://www.youtube.com/@Peachey_Blossom

I’m still at episode 22, waiting for them to get together, but having read the spoiler of the ending and last…
The series started out wonderful, but after episode 15 it loses its rhythm, and after episode 20 the plot becomes somewhat inert and repetitive. The ending is disappointing. But you'll have a lot of good moments if you watch until SSG and LY's wedding, episode 31. I suggest you stop till this point. Discard the rest! Keep the memories of their wedding in your heart!

Yes...Mr. Pei is the ancestor, this is only revealed in episode 30. If I were you, I would only watch until 31, when SSG and LY get married...

This discouraging spoiler seems reliable to me... https://www.tonboriday.com/2025/10/yummy-yummy-yummy-drama-ending.html
I feel exactly like you! We don't watch a drama to pass the time, we get involved in the story, fall in love with the characters, we kind of transmigrate into the screen and become one of them. It's, above all, an experience of love and dreams. Suddenly, all these bonds fade away in the calculated coldness of the drama industry. As you said, they robbed us of a fair ending as the only possible reward for a couple who devoted so much love to each other. My advice to you is to watch until their wedding, stop there, at that perfect point, full of smiles, light, and celebrations, and forever keep that scene in your memory. The two episodes are worthless and deserve to be disregarded for our choices!

It feels like these scriptwriters have made a complete mess of things. The final episodes are a Frankenstein, and the pieces don't quite fit together. I was thinking about what you said: the waste of talent from these two incredible actors, who always deliver great performances! I'm glad you're watching BR too! We'll definitely continue sharing insights!

Lol Your shock doesn't surprise me... Everyone is super disappointed because initially the series is very light and funny, very enjoyable, but it dragged on until episode 30, when they finally realize their love, which seemed forbidden. Then they get married in episode 31, in a joy that ends brutally in episode 32, with the restaurant fire, when the final breakup occurs. It's cruel, sadistic for the writers to tear away happiness gratuitously, with ZERO imagination and the most worn-out clichés possible. If you stop by the wedding episode, it's worth watching for the cultural richness of Chinese cuisine and wonderful characters like the Great Princess (the same actress who played Madam Li in Perfect Match). And a suggestion: dive into Fated Hearts: you'll love it!!

I just have one question… after the snooze fest that was ep. 27… does this get better and is there a HE?
No, unfortunately, the plot development is somewhat inert and repetitive. According to spoilers, the ending will disappoint you. SSG returns to the future, and everyone forgets everything, except for poor LY, who sees her disappear in the restaurant fire. He spends his life worshipping her image and dies of old age, a horror. Meanwhile, in the future, SSG ends up meeting, by chance, the supposed reincarnation of LY. They smile at each other and... The End. As for us, beyond the utter shock, we'll be left to turn this painful page and rewatch series with happy endings, like the wonderful Fated Hearts, or bet on new series, like Blood River. If you want, I can post some links with the spoilers here.

lol Exactly, I remembered our chat yesterday. I love the actors, especially LYR, the unforgettable Song Mo (Blossom), but I was completely captivated as the plot progressed. From episode 15 onward, I felt the pacing slowed and I didn't see any significant changes in the plot arcs. The narrative became pasty, the characters didn't grow, and they kept repeating their own patterns. But I never imagined the writers would tear the series apart and mutilate everything that had been built and enchanted us. Luckily, we can turn to Fated Hearts, 100% wonderful. I'm watching Blood River, hoping it will help me overcome this tremendous disappointment!

Me too!! The solution is to stop at the wedding scene where everyone is together, and ignore the final episodes, cheap cliché, a betrayal of everything that was built and made us love the series!

Haven't watched today's episodes but I'm going to take a guess it'll have an ending similar to When Destiny Brings…
Your bet is right, it will be like this, disappointing.

Did the link work?I general, some links don't open if you're in the MDL app. When this happens, you have to open the series' webpage and open it there. Try these 3 links that you can open here in the MDL app: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SesmvxRp2ow https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6VD5Vl2khlg https://x.com/earendel_cdrama/status/1980070041719820547?t=otCvMqDKMXKvLFblSOF_og
