The index criteria for Tencent were altered some time last summer after the Dream of Splendor aired. So the highest index according to the revised criteria belongs to The Youth Memories/Where Dreams Begin
Tbh, I agree with you. Her beauty is different from "ideal" type of goddess beauty. I think she is more in the…
Maybe we have different standards then, that’s ok. I can hardly think of any conventionally beautiful actresses in cdramas that have acting chops to match. Maybe only NiNi and a couple others. But that’s ok, I find this casting very refreshing

I agree that she’s not your typical xianxia beauty but tbh all those pretty heroines usually look like plastic dolls. Pretty faces, horrendous acting. At least Renmin can act

It’s a heat index used by tencent that shows how many people are watching&discussing a drama. The idea is the higher the index, the more popular a drama is

Who’s WYB and why are you mentioning him in this comment section? Does he have a supporting role in their drama? I don’t see anyone with this name among the main cast
How did this actress luck out and get this role??? I have never heard about her before and she gets a role in…
It’s a common practice in c-ent. If you have connections, you can get cast alongside big names. Because it guarantees your drama or movie success and exposure. You may notice that some male actors who recently got somewhat popular do the same thing with already established popular actresses in attempts to solidify their position in showbiz. We are lucky Ren Min can actually act! And I think she will look good next to Xiao Zhan. It could have been some talentless girl with powerful capital backing, established actors in c-ent are frequently forced into such collaborations to please producers. So we lucked out and I think that whoever did the casting for The Longest Promise did a great job with it. Looking forward to the drama!!
Tencent didn't said anything. I still hope this drama will be air this year.Patiently Waiting.
3 times actually of we count the comment their account made. And yeah, they are getting destroyed on weibo right now for lying to everyone and deceiving their viewers. Unfortunately, they don’t care. Just like they didn’t care when they did the same thing to The Oath of Love
