No misunderstandings or toxicity. Ml has amnesia but still starts falling in love first time he sees FL again. Fl doesn’t care he has no memory. She loves him no matter who he is or what he remembers/forgets.
No love triangle. Just 2 other SMLs who are like brothers to FL and best friends/younger annoying brother to ML.
The friendship between the 4 of them is one of my favorite I’ve ever watched in any drama.
MC is die hard fully there for one another, tho Ml has habit of sometimes leaving without explaining his reasons in person to FL. He does leave letters for her tho each time.
This habit of his causes a slight separation and breakup for 1/2 episode or so around ep 28-29. Fl feels hurt he won’t trust her like she trusts him and include her in conversation about him feeling need to leave her behind.
I think it will have HE.
Really love this drama. First 4 eps or so are super comedic and kinda silly.
But it gets more serious & romantic soon after.
I love the MC, 2 supporting SMLs, and all the other supporting cast.
Story is interesting with lots of mystery and unknown pasts of both ML & FL they each need to figure out to understand themselves and what has happened to bring them to where they are now as individuals.
ML does suffer a lot, but not because of lies or misunderstandings. It’s his choice.
Fl also does lots for him. They each give each other material things/gifts. Both of them each try to benefit & help one another whenever they can. The relationship is very equal, imo.
ML & FL are mature, trust each other, usually communicate, and work together to solve things.
Great music, skilled acting, gorgeous costumes & scenery,
Kinda choppy editing in some parts.
This could’ve been an all time great xianxia, but production seems rushed and drama was not promoted at all.
Needs more kisses….I forgive lack of kiss scene’s because the romance is so tender, sweet, full of butterflies, and solid everywhere else.
Chemistry between ZLH & JT is so good!
They’re both lovely looking, sounding, & acting….together their good qualities are magnified & intensified.
No annoying sniping jealous support antagonists.
Villains seem mostly mysterious so far. We don’t know who is pulling the strings behind the scenes. Too many possibilities.
There is one blatantly self righteous asshat in Great Path sect (Elder Zhu) who makes me want to slap him every time he comes on screen😅
I give it 8.5-9.5 for how it makes me feel, great friendship, excellent MC, strong and smart but believable Fl, sexy ML with multiple different versions, & beauty throughout.
Where did you see the ending? iQIYI seems to have quit at episode 30, and the last 6 don’t appear on the MDL…
I’m wondering too…I thought this was an IQIYI exclusive production?
I’m only at ep 30 because that’s all that’s been released on IQIYI in US, far as I know.
I really wish they’d do a s2 of this drama instead of cramming so much story into the last few episodes. It seems like there’s so much left to be explained and explored.
It’s an interesting world and story for me with excellent characters, beautiful scenery, great OST, and lots of good humor & friendship between the 4 friends.
A fairly mature and healthy romance too…makes a nice change from most xianxia in that regard.

I honestly love this drama. I think it deserves a Higher rating.
Maybe some people were expecting more of a typical xianxia and are downvoting it?
I’m enjoying the MC & their super sweet trusting relationship, all major supporting cast (esp Lil Fox & Dragon Prince), and I appreciate how there’s many mysteries that all tie in together.
Smart, determined, witty, empathetic, wise, mischievous, skilled, strong but still tender FL.
ML is green flag extreme but also has a Devil May care attitude in his second version. Roguishly charming but 100% all in and willing to do anything imaginable he can for FL no matter what.
No painful, angsty, lingering misunderstandings or lack of trust between MC.
No ridiculous, vicious, petty, & jealous SML or SFL.
Instead we get healthy friendships & romance that are still exciting and entertaining without the toxic aspects. I’m so happy🥰
It’s a visual and auditory feast: beautiful scenery/costumes, beautiful couple/actors, and beautiful music.
First few eps are much more comedic in tone. After the beginning, I like the balance between happy n sad it’s mostly maintained throughout.
Story is simpler than other xuanhuan/xianxia in certain aspects but still layered and creative.
I recommend it if you like the things I mentioned in your dramas.
She seems to get paired with male leads looking way younger than her. Like a mismatch, then it feels like something…
Although Follow Your Heart fell a bit flat in later episodes/got a bit draggy in some parts, Song Yi and Luo Yun Zi make a cute couple and have good chemistry in it.
I liked that they seem closer in age than some of the MLs she’s been paired with in other dramas.
Personally, I loved Destined.
I wasn’t into it at first, but I think after 4-6 eps I was hooked.
Haven’t watched this one here. But I’ll prob check it out.
Unfortunately very true about the CCP having ultimate power and say regarding what’s released, censored, or left to he void to be forgotten.
I don’t watch many KDramas anymore because I much prefer xianxia, xuanhuan, wuxia, & historical/costume dramas that China tends to make more of.
I loved Alchemy of The Soul and several other similar fantasy type KDramas….but most just don’t satisfy me the same way as the CDramas I watch.
Mr Queen, Memories of the Alhambra, It’s Ok to Not Be Ok, Black, Goblin, Tale of the Nine Tailed, Hotel De Luna, A Korean Odyssey, & a few others are on par.
AOTS is by far my favorite Kdrama tho.
I do hope this one is released one day. Same with all the BL titles that were permanently shelved after the CCP changed their laws on that.
Watching Love’s Rebellion rn.
It’s really good! If you’re in the mood for heartwarming relationships, comedy (a bit slapstick/goofy), a good supporting cast, pretty scenery & music, simple but pleasing fantasy story, great chemistry between leads, and/or you like Jing Tian & Zhang Ling He I definitely recommend it!
3 years after a painfull grief. I think that Nan Yan's change is justified
Right? I don’t understand why someone would be confused about how her personality has changed after what she experienced and after her trials on the pagoda/3 yrs of heartbroken training with the driving goal of eliminating evil.
I think JT is doin a great job as Nan Yan. She and ZLH have beautiful chemistry.
Watch the Starry Love then cuz the two FL's are good
The Starry Love is superior to both AOL & L&R in my opinion.
The endless misunderstanding and sheer stupidity of FL in L&R drove me crazy!
SiFeng was incredible…but at some point his willingness to keep being tortured/suffer for FL made me feel a bit sick.
I liked AOL better, But again, the toxicity of the main romance really diminished my enjoyment of the drama.
Not a fan of childish, baby brain FLs so I wasn’t really loving Jin Mi’s character at first.
Still, Yang Zi was much funnier and less annoying as Jin Mi and her acting was much better.
I don’t mind some misunderstandings and i even like a bit of angst. But xianxia with abusive, toxic, frustrating & stupid constant misunderstandings easily cleared with a tiny bit of communication/dialogue make me want to scream and break things.
They remind me of terrible relationships I’ve been in…probably just too triggering for me!
I loved beginning of TTEOTM, but I had to drop it towards last arc.
The Starry Love gave me everything I was missing in xianxias.
I hope more like it come out.
Shen Li wasn’t bad, but a bit slow & not as fulfilling as TSL for me.
I would think more PTSD at first then causing an arrested development.
Shao Yao’ s hand fluttering, avoidance of eye contact, initial confusion between romantic/platonic/familial love, special interest in medicine, impulsive & awkward behavior in social situations, instinctive trust and lack of fear towards others (sometimes potentially dangerous), animated body language & expressiveness of emotions (esp joy), concern/worry for others, awareness people treat her differently & underestimate many of her capabilities/unknowingly deny her agency, her wish to be treated like everyone else/not infantilized, excitement when learning & playing, sense of Justice & empathy, and so many other things are highly relatable & familiar to me. I was more like her when I was younger before I learned to mask and to not trust people so unreservedly.
I understand not many people might know those things can be autistic traits. Super common in many autistic women/AFAB folks tho. Same for AuDHD people (autism & adhd) like me.
Lastly, you’d think if she only had CPTSD, she would likely fear strangers/unknown situations much more & be socially anxious/withdrawn around most people due to being treated so poorly & isolated her whole life. But that wasn’t the case.
Sorry i wrote so much. Just bought it might help people understand why she’s seen as Autistically-coded by people and why it makes sense that the writers intended that on some level.

Why do they do this?
I would think repeatedly doing this would end up hurting actors and studios popularity, reputations,
reliability, & trust from fans.
