I am so thrown off by the main actresses overdone plastic surgery. Especially because it's a Saguek and she is…
People don’t have wrinkles at 50. I am Indian and none of my female relatives have any wrinkles to speak of until 55 at least. And we are talking about East Asians. I live in Singapore and have seen Chinese, Koreans and Japanese have no wrinkles until they are 60 at least. So I don’t understand your comment at all?
When you are older say when you hit thirty you will realise this. Women get slided out of society by the time they are 35 even if they live much longer than men well into their 80s. Getting an interview, getting a partner if you are newly divorced, attention from doctors at hospitals everything die down. This is why women like this little slice of fantasy world where for a change ageism does not exist. Society treats a 35 year old woman (she is so old) and a 35 year old man (he is so young and hot) so differently.
dont care but when are we going to delete the thousand burners who target and lower the rating of all 2023 shows?…
If you follow books you will realise that book choice awards for goodreads were massively rigged this year and it’s owned by Amazon. There could be bots here who could work on behalf of certain actors or Netflix we never know. Viewers may not be entirely responsible for rating swings. I am saying this based on my very schocked reaction to goodreads this year. All major booktubers are also saying the same.
Look for the likely suspects... who benefits from Netflix ratings? The stars' agents, the production company,…
I agree. I follow Goodreads avidly and some recent releases were review bombed by an author. There is this goodreads choice awards and this years awards for 2023 appear to be rigged. Goodreads is owned by Amazon and so definitely there is collusion. MDL could also have bots working for Netflix who are hyping up this drama, we cannot just blame viewers for this.
Same here. Anyways almost all k dramas have huge age differences these days where men are at least 15 years older. I love romance so I have weaned off most kdramas now. I prefer reading especially there so many beautiful young adult romances these days such as Divine Rivals, Fourth Wing, One Dark Window, Encyclopaedia of Faeries that I am not missing kdramas at all. If I want to watch one, I rewatch my old favourites.
It’s called MDL “hypocrisy with olderwomenitis”. Ignore it. Haters come and downgrade all dramas where female…
More than misogyny internalised misogyny is louder. Men on MDL seldom make very below the belt snide vicious comments about women, it’s almost always girls.
Im all for noona romances 10-15 max but if they have a love line I don't think I will be able to get into, she…
There is a very famous book written by LaVyrle Spencer called Family Blessings which came out in 1994. The mom (widow) has three children and her cop son tragically dies. His work partner and his mom then bond over the grief and despite social problems start a relationship. This drama plot is similar although there was no revenge angle in the book. In the book the relationship was handled very well. I am hoping we can wait and watch to see how this drama pans out.
All her dramas have done well in Korea. The only one which did not was “when the weather is fine.” Some dramas…
That’s what I am saying. Her portfolio of dramas are almost like security hedging. If they don’t do well domestically they do well internationally and vice versa. Which means she chooses them well. Which is why she is consistently finding work. Also drama producers appear to select content alternately either do well domestic market or do well international market.
MDL could also have bots working for Netflix who are hyping up this drama, we cannot just blame viewers for this.
