another PMY formula rom com, another flop most likely
All her dramas have done well in Korea. The only one which did not was “when the weather is fine.” Some dramas are more catered towards Korean audiences and her FLAW drama was really liked by Koreans because if was a realistic portrayal of people in the weather agency, it was not even a romcom it was quite dramatic. This one is also going to get dark since there is cancer, etc so it won’t be super happy happy either.
I agree I hate this trope. I don’t have a problem with weight but I can understand how disturbing it is. On specs too people forget that not everyone is myopic. I am hyperopic and my eyes become bigger when I wear glasses. Plus one can have really stylish glasses. I hate these stereotypes
Because people are biased. They can stomach relationships like goblin where the male lead is older than 2 decades…
I also did not like 25/21 but from a neutral technical perspective I do think 25/21 is better craft. I just think now we breaking up deserved better ratings.
Because people are biased. They can stomach relationships like goblin where the male lead is older than 2 decades but will hate downvote dramas with older women. Thankfully I feel that this vicious trolling (which was very high during covid days) has reduced now and noona dramas don’t get so much hate viewers, who downvote just for the heck of it.
This whole story is, "this woman doesn't know what she wants". Like for once, assume she does!
It’s not like that. It’s just she is surrounded by women who tell her to settle down since she is above 30 now. Her best friend is always shaming her “because society”. Her mom keeps urging her to marry. You can also see the same confusion with the actress lady who keeps thinking she cannot marry because it’s too hard to do because of career. I actually did a consulting project for day care company wanting to venture into Japan and there is extreme shortage (like extreme shortage). So none of these ladies are wrong.
Cha the EW has improved a lot. In this drama he has appeared matured so far. The first three episodes were totally meh, but it’s now picking up. I will binge watch this again when all of the episodes have dropped for a better viewing experience. Oh and I forgot to mention, I really like Park Gyu Young, in fact I wish she keeps getting more lead roles.
I really like song Kang. I even liked him in FLAW. This is not doing it for me. I don’t too, it’s giving 2016 k fantasy drama vibes but without the splendour of dramas such as my love from the star. I hope this picks up in subsequent episodes.
Like you I am also tired of these kdrama pairing where the male leads are at least 10 years older and usually…
Millions and millions of girls in poor countries are married off before the age of 18 to much older men to a lifetime of abuse and pain. Even then people are happy watching dramas where this trend is being continued. On the other hand in poor countries women who marry much older men are left widowed very young (since men don’t live as long) and are subjected to a lifetime of poverty. I am an Indian and have seen the poorest of poor being women whose much older men left them young (since they passed) and living in absolute poverty. Same I used to watch Bollywood and we have grandpa romances where the male leads are in their sixties and female lead in their twenties and the only reason why I preferred kdramas becuase it was better, but now I am not sure anymore. Even the quality of the stories have gone down. I prefer Chinese dramas now.
Bahahahha what's up with the pairing common wtf. Say sike
Like you I am also tired of these kdrama pairing where the male leads are at least 10 years older and usually they are 12 to 15 years older. I don’t know what happened? So I am slowly weaning myself off kdramas now. From following 4 dramas a month I follow probably 2 every 2/3 months now. It is what it is I guess
Oh and I forgot to mention, I really like Park Gyu Young, in fact I wish she keeps getting more lead roles.
