Don’t like park Seo joon if the drama is hyped. Like did not like Itaewon class, secretary Kim at all. Really liked Fight for my way, kill me heal me and witches romance. This one I don’t know …
I am also confused. But maybe it's related to Mok Ha who lives on a small island which is far from the big city?…
I think the author did not p much research. Lots of plot points here glossed over, such as her island stay and use of so many plastic umbrellas for example. Minor stuff really, but I hope the writing holds up from now on.
well... iPhones were created in 2007 and she lived in a small island, in a lot of countries smartphone were not…
Sorry for getting a little technical here. I did a telecom project back in 2007 using European GSM technologies, AT&T of USA, NTT docomo of Japan. Cutting a long story short, there were more features available to people on phones in Japan and Korea. You can also see that reflected in old very old k Dramas circa 2004, 2005 (such as my lovely Sam soon) where they use this flip phones with video in them.
Is this not a bit silly? iPhone have been around since 2006/2007 and people could watch videos on phone. We had iPods where you could watch videos too… what has really changed technology wise since 2008? Nothing. Even Facebook has been around since 2005 I think. Only thing new are - Covid, Non stop wars, social media mental health problems and probably TikTok. The author has done no research.
I really like KYJ. Her clean with passion was amazing. Hope this is great too :)
I liked the drama clean with because I know people with OCD in real life and it was a good portrayal. People may find it boring I know that. She acted very well both here and in moonlight :)
Really I am only used to seeing men die needlessly. It’s a very common thing in Indian movies to show men die…
Yes it is. Since the 1950s the common trope has been that the man dies and his wife, lover etc lives her whole life in mourning wearing only white, no ornaments, not smiling, no attending social occasions, not eating good food essentially a living corpse. And in death the hero assumes god like proportions with his image enshrined in the house (for both Hindus and muslims, since a lot of Pakistani dramas also do this). The most famous iconic movie to do this is an Indian Movie called Sholay in 1975 and more recently Bahubali. Every single movie, drama with acts of heroism ends like this. So yes I am so over and tired of this trope.
I don't care if it's happy ending, just don't fridge the wife. I am so tired of female characters dying for character…
Really I am only used to seeing men die needlessly. It’s a very common thing in Indian movies to show men die heroically and to show women in mourning and crying over them for the rest of their lives. I am so so so tired of that trope.
Can anyone recommend a similar romance where the guy is about 4 to 6 years older and it’s a cute but passionate relationship. (Please don’t recommend hidden love).
