I want Wi Ja Hoon to go a bit dark and intense and to sport a stubble just like the male lead in My Liberation Notes (not Lee Min ki, the other one Seon Sok Gu, who is one of my favourite actors). This series will be totally lit then :)
ee teacher - student rotha apandroooooooooooooooooo
Based on this written blurb (it’s not been written well), I checked out the drama page, both will be students first and then both will be teachers later.
I am assuming based on the blurb (it’s not been written well) that they both are teachers and they both met as students in the past? where the romance will commence? Hope it’s dark drama since I love stories about corruption and student exploitation
I have lots of feelings. I wanted this to be a cosy village slice of life drama with no to zero romance but this ended up being a thriller with faint notes of romance. But the last episode wrapped it up well. I was unhappy after ep 15 for making things too obvious but with last episode I am quite satisfied. I have always seen Han Ji Min look very doll like pretty starting from her rooftop prince so this was such a welcome change to see her so deglam. Lee Min Ki usually is so wooden faced up he is also so warm and lively here.
What are the chances that the female lead herself is the killer. That would account for all of the “so called” stupidity. There is something unsettling about her character.
It’s a cute series but ( and maybe I m one of the few) I find it annoying when Miss Bong a vet in her 30s has…
I know people like that well into their forties. Especially neurodivergent people, introvert, sensitive people or people from conservative protective households. Conversely many people in their 20s are mature, so street smart and savvy. Also personal loss or trauma regresses a person. One of my neighbours (a man in early fifties) is very childlike. His dad tells us he became like this when his brother passed when he was in his early twenties. Life and trauma treats different people differently. In a nutshell the writer is trying to show us the character is emotional stunted without telling it clearly.
I tried to watch this drama, but about to drop it. I don’t like it when the leads are drunk and out of control. Why don’t just show an adult therapy. And it’s so tropey , the female lead at second episode keeps saying while drunk “you are so young and handsome why do you fine me attractive” and I am like really? Is being drunk the only way to show sadness? As far as I know women would not go out in public and get drunk especially since it’s so unsafe. The best example of a woman reacting to sad news was scent of a woman, the lead knew she was dying, so she booked herself into a luxury hotel and treated herself to a good meal and bought a lovely vacation for herself. I will watch one more episode and if it’s still insufferable I will drop it.
Honestly Lee Jae wook can make even upto 20 eps entertaining just see the full 30 of AOS. I wish this had more…
I want to have more episodes too. I like Lee Jae Wook but hated all the dramas he starred in excluding search WWW. Alchemy of souls was not for me. I like Kim Jae Wook and have liked all his works, favourite being The Guest and Temperature of Love. So this is great having them both.
