Which show are you talkng about when you say supporting grooming and pedophile?
I just realised I commented the wrong person. I meant it’s a paedophile drama in my opinion. It totally is. I wonder how China with its strict law allowed it to pass.
This reminds me of a quirky English village with quirky characters. Anyone who reads cosy fantasy like Legends and Lattes or Encyclopaedia of Faeries will recognise the similarities. I was on a cosy fantasy reading spree of late and ordered a whole host of exclusive books from Fairyloot, so imagine my pleasant surprise when this drama landed. It’s so so so good with such cozycore vibes… amazing amazing 😻
I am not a feminist and even so I hated the ending. I believe in second chances. I have also been around older…
It should not be unsatisfying all the time a woman’s reality. Social perception can be changed. Maybe I am biased because I have spent a lot of time with old widowed women in the city where I stay. I go on government sponsored home visits and I stay in a Chinese dominated city in Asia pacific, so women live very long. Some are well into their nineties and have spoken to no one for weeks. They cry when they meet us. So yes, I don’t think being alone is awesome at that age. I am south Asian, and in South Asia, we don’t leave our older women alone. Grandmas stay with us and we recognise this. They are the ladies who raised our parents and deserve love. And ending like this is only ok, if I assume that she won’t live long to experience extreme old age. Then this ending is not bad it’s a good ending then.
I am a feminist and I don't understand why the other reviews say this drama hates women because Doctor Cha gets…
I am not a feminist and even so I hated the ending. I believe in second chances. I have also been around older women a lot through social work and in my family. Women marry older men but live longer so many are very lonely in their twilight years for decades. I wanted this to be a happy story where this character found the love and support she was craving for decades of her life. Instead she was put to pasture by the writers of the story just because she was past her childbearing age. Also the cheating man was given a lot of leeway in the story which is very horrible. Honestly this drama lets down people who are conservative (I am a assuming such people do not endorse cheating) and feminists (because it maintains the idea that women have no value once they are beyond childbearing age). Very unsatisfying drama
Do they show any warm scenes between the leads or none at all. By warm I mean a smile to say they will be together…
I am ok with no kiss, which is why I shared “warm scenes” not skinship. Sometimes I prefer it that ways since it fits the tone of a drama, like in this case since she was still married for a large duration of the show. But I did not want the writer to leave them hanging but give them a proper resolution and conclusion 😊
Did not like it one bit :( … hence I am sad. Since I really liked him in IU one and this was his next drama after that one, and I dropped it like a hot potato.
Great it’s on Disney since this does not seem to interest me. I loved Lee Joong Gi in the arang, the vampire one and the IU one. Since then I have not been able to like anything he has been in. I wish he did fantasy historicals again. This one is not the type of fantasy look I like, very grungy looking. A fairy talesque drama with horror elements (that would be something I would love to watch :) ) My idea a avalonian myths retelling. I can totally see him as Lancelot or Merlin.
She seemed to have zero episodes of visual problems in today’s episode or did I miss some thing?
Yeah I agree. But in todays episode there was none so I am being over optimistic in thinking that maybe the ghost was causing it which is why she was ok in todays episode
Why are the marketing gods promoting this drama so much? It looks a bit “mid” to me. Not great not bad. Happy to be proven wrong. After revenant I want to be watching a good one.
It’s kind of like showing that this ghost is evil and powerful and manipulative but it cannot mind control.…
Hmm that’s makes sense. I think though that the main guy (not the cop) usually does not involve her but she tries to seek him out, in this instance they need her because she needs to pretend to be the ghost.
