😊… I love how Chinese netizens think. I sometimes think they are much more progressive than our international viewers here on MDL. They did not like she and her perfect husband and the douban was poor (too much flashy). I also want to check out that youth drama which is apparently doing very well in china how :).
Avenue X just gave this one a thumbs up. Dai Gao Zheng got a small role in it as wellhttps://youtu.be/2gxLH34rHr4
I love her reviews. She is to the point, frank and I agree with most of her reviews. The once I don’t she still makes very valid points. I agreed with what she had to say about hidden love but if I say anything negative about that drama, people bite my head off. I also want to check out imperfect victim and butterflied lover now based off her review.
It seems kind of counterproductive to carry along the person who is possessed by an evil spirit while also trying…
It’s kind of like showing that this ghost is evil and powerful and manipulative but it cannot mind control. That’s what the drama writer is trying to tell us. Which is why at the end of the day only the carrier can probably defeat the ghost since it’s they are the ones close enough to understand the powerful spirit. One example of mind control ghost are the Stephen king spirits from IT (the clown) and the shining (the hotel entity)
I'm not sure if I understand you but no ML is tortured here only the FL few times
Oki.., thank you 😊. I know nothing of this story yet, so my comments may come across as ignorant or foolish. But now I am curious… I am just tired of dramas such as love fairy devil, end of the moon, longest promise (all of which ended with male leads disappearing or dying).
Guys is this one of those Chinese dramas which we have been getting a lot of where the male lead is super tortured and then he either dies or disappears or the point of conflict is something else here? I like Yang Zi and will give this a try if it’s not one of those dramas (I call them the Chinese titanic … a super tragic hero made memorable due to his death).
So, I know Haesang has some issues interacting with people but it bothers me how he just lets Sanyoung go when…
He hates the ghost she carries since that killed his mom. His behaviour demonstrates that he does not think of her as a person but as a vessel hosting something evil and that he won’t hesitate to sacrifice himself or her if needs be. The only person he loved as a family was his senior inspector and even he was killed by her. So deep deep deep down he detests her and he has not realised it himself which is why he is so cold towards her …
I am kind of hoping for romance because the foreshadowing is not good for KTR character. She might end up disabled…
To me death won’t be a bad outcome since it makes logical sense in this narrative. A sad survivor is a more tragic end to me. So I will be more emotionally affected if they end up alive, broken and sad.
Except for few most Kdrama romances have been very very crappy in last couple of years.in fact Kdramas shine when…
I prefer Thai and Chinese dramas for romance, they give me the butterflies in the stomach feeling. Korean dramas not so much. Everything is too perfect, scripted and choreographed that it gets a bit soulless

I am more worried about KTR character. A quick death would be so much better than the type of future which will be awaiting her, disabled, alone and probably poor too. San Young might get his heroic death which is what he probably wants whilst she will be the one to suffer the most painfully and the longest. So I just want a little bit of happiness for her (the writer has done a good job to have gotten me so invested in her character).
The show is entering its last 2 ep next week and people are still asking for romance? 🤣 You’re better off…
I am kind of hoping for romance because the foreshadowing is not good for KTR character. She might end up disabled too, so she needs someone for her. But if it goes tragic I am fine with that too.
The ending dance🩰 was on an Indian song🤭 Kala Chasma 😎
Thai dramas make me so happy these days. I have stopped watching Korean oppa/ajusshi romances. All Korean dramas feature too much politics and classism (which is reflective of the society we live in so it’s a stressful watch). Thai dramas are better since they are simple, sometimes silly and over the top and so inclusive (genders, preferences and also the leads sometimes look so diverse). There is something so lovable about Thai dramas. Plus I loved that bit about Kala chashma too.
She is so pretty. Usually I don’t like commenting on actors looks but more on their skills. I wish she was in more popular productions since she acts really well too. The polarised reactions to her in delightful deceptions, demonstrates how successful she was in creating the character of a very “grey” woman.
