You will be sucked into endless hours of entertainment. And then when you are bored, chase after buying endless special editions of the book. 🤦‍♀️ (in a nutshell avoiding k dramaland and filling the void with nonsense).

Cool 😎. I am a millennial and even I think they are too much… especially Coleen Hoover. I also think they are imposed on us with heavy marketing. Everywhere you go to a bookstore there they are those dreaded books blinking and winking at us. Actually a part of me is super happy that the fourth wing is so popular, and this may end the trend of these other books for us. I can only hope.

I was trying to comment on what the producers and casting agents are thinking. I am an avid book reader and booktok is going crazy these days which age gap stories (where men are older, especially Sarah J Maas fantasy novels where they are like 1000 year old immortals). And this trend is filtering out into manga, and video as well.

That’s the story of all k dramas these days. Average age difference is 12-15 years. But then I think that’s the trend these days. If you follow booktok, it’s full of Zaddystories. This trend has been made popular with Coleen Hoover, Ali Hazelwood stories and Gen Z girls love these stories. Recently for Coleen Hoover story Blake Lively was casted (It ends with us) and Gen Z girls got mad because they wanted to see a young girl romance an older man. And men always like women to be decades younger than them anyways.

I agree and I want them to be together. It keeps people guessing, is different from usual k dramas and also shows a more steady character for the female lead, since she has consistently liked the 2ML. I hate “about turn “ in books and movies, just because the main leads are “supposed to be together”.

I wish Korean men grew out their beards that helps with visuals when men are younger.
