Good to note that about your dad 👍. Mine kept working including for the Space Research Org. of our country, till his late sixties and then retired. He is in his early seventies.

Absolutely 💯. It’s genetics, health but it’s also mental too. If you keep telling a person (a woman for example at 50) you are too old, the person will stop trying and the prejudices get to you. We see this Bollywood also na, Shahrukh Khan is still raking at the box office at 55, but none of his ladies are older than 40. As a woman (I am one too), we face it all the time and worst part it sometimes from fellow women. Even women, I know will pick apart Aishwarya Rai saying “she looks old” and must be doing cosmetic surgeries, whilst praising all men including Rajnikanth (people don’t kill me here please). But he looks old in real life.
It is true what you are saying but it is also sad. People used to live shorter lives but now they are longer.…
It’s sad indeed. I do weekend volunteer work with the elderly and they are unfortunately all women, many lonely but healthy and sharp witted. The society has no more use for them. They married older men (men die young anyways) and left bereaved. Some ladies tell me I am the first person they have talked to in days/weeks. Younger women should stop discriminating against older women. If we don’t fight this prejudice we will one day be in the same position.
I have to comment on the ongoing age bias here the female lead is 50 not 70. Problem with life and society in general, is we underestimate how long women live especially when we are young. I am in my mid to late thirties and when I look around at least 50% of the women crowd is older than me. Every family I mean every family has grandmothers living until late 80s. We need to change this outdated way of thinking. One can’t be old right at 50 if one still has more than 35 years to go at least. This bias does not help anyone. So basically this bias means women are old for more than 50 years of their lives (age 35 and beyond) and adult only for 16 (18 until 34)? This is ridiculous
It needs to be better than Come and Hug md, acting wise / story wise its his best work till date as a main lead..NWABP…
The way he spoke French and the first scene in NWABU was too cringy. I dropped the drama right after the first episode. He is a big man (physically) so will be good in action oriented shows. I also liked come and hug me. Search WWW was good too. Netflix do a lot of gritty shows.
I am in a minority here, but I think Ha Do Young will be her main enemy. He has very strong “Othello/Heathcliff” vibes for me ( attractive, charming, but a streak of negativity). This might actually make the face off more interesting since this would then become a battle of David vs Goliath. I used a lot of literary references. But I honestly think the author takes inspiration from old western classics. I watched her secret garden, City Hall (hated descendants of sun so dropped), Goblin and all of them you find references to characters from Korean or western literature. The character of Ha Do Young, has that powerful attractive older male with a dark streak vibe to him. Let’s see how this story shapes up. I also think he has a potential connection to Lee Do Hyun character too.
In India I have seen it happen too especially with IIT coaching and in cities like Hyderabad and Kota. However…
Yes exactly. I agree with you. Even when it gets extreme it’s only in the context of how much fees they charge, how many hours they make the students study and how tough the entrance gets for the best kota factory type tution centres.
This plot will only happen in Korea lol they making such a big deal out of a famous tutor tutoring someone he…
In India I have seen it happen too especially with IIT coaching and in cities like Hyderabad and Kota. However people don’t get violent or try to kill children (cue sky castle, penthouse). Killing or targeting someone else’s child is a very Korean thing at least from the dramas I have watched. And I have watched loads of Pakistani, Swedish, British, American, Chinese and Indian dramas.
This and rational life are my best romances with older female lead. Others can get too cliche. In this they raise awareness about how society might be opposed to such relationships where women are older and also when it’s the coach. I googled and I realised that many track athletes have indeed married their coaches so it happens. What I loved though was the relationship the second boy had with the second male lead. It’s one of the best and most heart warming mentee mentor relationships I have seen
This this this… 👍 he has been so so so mean to her people don’t realise that. I don’t have a problem…
please stop calling people Stan if they share a point of view. He is not a great actor. Brangelina are cheaters and why we wasting our time defending either of them. I was just talking in the context of an acrimonious divorce. Also as I mentioned before I did not know this issue of violence.
