1) fans need to stop dragging SJK. True. He has nothing to do with her and neither does she. They are legally divorced and must be allowed to move on
2) it being a fact that she is a poor actress. It’s perception since I and many do find her a good actress. I have liked her since “That winter wind blows”. Her acting was amazing in that drama and I liked her in encounter and the glory. I did not like her acting in “descendant of sun” (to me that drama is super stupid just like crash landing, but it’s my opinion and who cares since those are hit dramas) or now “we breaking up.”
I personally hate Park Shin Hye and her acting so steer clear of her dramas. And don’t watch her dramas. I know I will hate them.
It’s clear you don’t find SHK acting which is fair too. But people do like her acting and that’s fair too.

I don’t like the way the heroine talks in a girlish voice. it’s a Korean and Chinese drama thing, where girls put on a pseudo cute school girlish way of talking and to me it feels like fingernails down a metal surface it’s that jarring. In my native language it’s called “Naekami” and culturally (in my native culture) it’s considered a negative trait and such girls are called “Naeka”. Her way of speaking ruined half the drama and the end ruined the other half. 🤷‍♀️.
Would have preferred if she was the departed one somehow would have fit better with the narrative since she was such a lost soul. I don’t know why movies and dramas like to kill off men and show grieving women. Would like to see it the other way around sometimes. Which is why I liked the new drama with Yoona (won’t say name due to spoilers). I have watched hundreds of movies and shows (Indian, Hollywood) where men keep getting killed off in army, in battle and the bereaved woman and her trauma is shown with such vivid detail. We in society like to see alive and extremely unhappy women I guess. All titanic based movies and books always kill off the men.

I will not pass judgement against a woman I know nothing about. Unless otherwise proven she is not bad to me. The culprit is Song Jong Ki if he is unable to stop the negative press that the women he involves with are facing. He is a man and should man up. That’s my opinion. In India, a cricket star Virat Kohli’s wife faced a lot of criticism and he stood up and told the bullies off. Another person Arjun Kapoor is having an affair with a much older woman Malaika Arora and when the press made fun of her he publicly told them off. That’s how men should behave. He is a fine man but he has some red flags
1) failing to recognise how his wife was
2) his wife the villainess keeps saying how he likes his women young and thin and hot which is why she went under the knife to keep slim
3) a man who spends zero time with his daughter and does not even know she is colour blind
4) his exchange with his chauffeur where he is very condescending and asks him to have expensive wine
Based on the subtle hints and cues given by the author I feel he will switch over to the dark side against our heroine. Else how else will the revenge story last for another 8 episodes

For everyone who is again harping about SHK being older than LDH. In Korean dramas, unlike bias everywhere else women are shown with younger men. I have been watching dramas since 2012 and it’s been there as a trend with many famous actresses. The geek in me decided to do research since I wanted to know why Korea is different where everywhere else women should be on the shelf at 35 and act like a grandma, which is when I saw multiple articles saying that in old Joseon society of korea (about 400 years ago), marriages were arranged in childhood by families and sometimes the girl was older than the boy. So it’s a cultural thing. And hence the popularity of noona romances in Korea since the 90s since it’s more accepted and part of their tradition.
This is similar to rajput weddings (Indian community) in the past where the marriages would be arranged before the kids were born Sometimes leading to instances where the girl was older. In fact a very famous movie Zubeida touches upon this fact, where the rajput queen (first wife) is shown to be much older than her husband.

Just my intuition. It’s most likely baseless, but a lot of slander is always timed when she is about to air something especially during encounter drama and now we breaking up. Also I have seen vindictive divorced couples in real life where men do go all out. Anyways I never do rumour mongering personally, so I do sincerely apologise for my comments. Absolutely not. Her ex Song Jong Ki appears to be very vindictive and a lot of smear campaign done against her. She needs to find someone (if she wants to) who is not of this toxic media Korean industry which is full of bullies as evidenced by spate of suicides every year
