I hated it too. It was my most disappointing drama for this year since the chemistry was so good but the writers spoiled it.

I also hated it. But to be honest it could be lost in translation. Since in my language there are two three types of words to describe if some is not healthy. “Kamzor” or “Nazuk” means not sick but needs care. So it could be that. Something which is queen English we say “of weak constitution”.
In India where I grew up such kids usually stayed with their maternal or paternal grandparents since there were many people to take care of them Aunties, grandmas, grandpas. It was a tradition that if mother and father were both working, instead of hiring a full time nanny people would prefer that delicate children stayed with their extended families and then they resumed living with their parents once they were stronger. China might also have a similar tradition.

It’s slow and steady. There are some convenient plot devices the author has used. Also the lead actress is overdressed at times.
Having said that the chemistry is really good, it never gets boring and it has the rare quality of making you wait for each episode to air.
You can watch “Marcus here” on YouTube who collects data from authentic Chinese MR agencies and they report that this drama is top 3 this week amongst all the web dramas being aired. He reports weekly entertainment numbers from the Mainland and is pretty accurate with proper citations. So people in China are liking what they have seen so far. But in fair assessment they are loving Yang Mi doctor drama much more in China right now.

So am I. What I don’t like is 1) rating 1 when you have not even watched it 2) writing bad comments about actresses and their characters when they are just doing their job. It is really not ok.
Even I disliked now we breaking up , but that is after I watched a few episodes and heard some really cringy dialogues especially awful French, it was terrible. But that’s it. Calling SHK names is not ok, but she was called names (she was called a Mack and few other choice words) it’s bulllying. Why would you do that to an actress just because she is doing her job. They also called PMY desperate again that’s not the worse they called her. The comments were very very vicious.

Not even in Korea. It’s this platform MDL which attracts international audience. FLAW did receive very good ratings in JTBC so the Korean audience also really liked it. So basically I am talking about the appalling behaviour some audience show in this platform.

People wondering about the sudden dip in rating this is why. It’s a trend where people rate down a drama without watching it if it’s a noona drama. There are some young girls and other people who don’t like seeing their idol romancing an older woman.
1) similar trend with forecasting love and weather where the drama only aired 4 episodes and the comments very vicious
2) same with Now We Breaking Up. That drama was bad, but people rated it even if it had not started airing. People called SHK a wh&re (kid you not) and called her a “Mack” you can google the meaning of that word
3) why her also had people passing very nasty comments to Seo Hyun Jin even if the age difference was only 5
Each and every time the comments were nasty, some even called them “bad” women and then they went and gave a 1 star despite not even watching.
I did complain to MDL moderators saying honest critique is fine but writing nasty stuff and down rating just to tank is not ok. Its borderline harassment but nothing has been done.

I am dying in anticipation already. Monday cannot come fast enough. The last time I was this pumped was when stranger things season 4 vol 2 was about to air and I was so tensed to see if Steve made it through from the upside down.

Even I want to know. Koalas playground is very good with gossip and so far I have not heard much from her, so assuming it’s not much hype. What Koala said was that Yang Mi doctor drama got her a lot of accolades for her acting in china

Exactly right. In fact I even tried to watch boy love thinking why people love them so much. But it was hard. So then I tried reading books and I did like the House on the Cerulean Sea which was good. So why people do this witch hunting I do not understand
