Not even in Korea. It’s this platform MDL which attracts international audience. FLAW did receive very good ratings in JTBC so the Korean audience also really liked it. So basically I am talking about the appalling behaviour some audience show in this platform.

People wondering about the sudden dip in rating this is why. It’s a trend where people rate down a drama without watching it if it’s a noona drama. There are some young girls and other people who don’t like seeing their idol romancing an older woman.
1) similar trend with forecasting love and weather where the drama only aired 4 episodes and the comments very vicious
2) same with Now We Breaking Up. That drama was bad, but people rated it even if it had not started airing. People called SHK a wh&re (kid you not) and called her a “Mack” you can google the meaning of that word
3) why her also had people passing very nasty comments to Seo Hyun Jin even if the age difference was only 5
Each and every time the comments were nasty, some even called them “bad” women and then they went and gave a 1 star despite not even watching.
I did complain to MDL moderators saying honest critique is fine but writing nasty stuff and down rating just to tank is not ok. Its borderline harassment but nothing has been done.

Look what I said was the protests which ensue when noona romances rare versus zero protests when men are older. I am not talking about the trend but the reaction to the trend where people keep putting negative comments on every single drama page of a noona drama.
Also older men dramas are not rare, virtually every Hollywood, Bollywood or European entertainment especially Spanish and Italian features leading men who are decades older.

Nam Goong Min, So Ji Sub, Gong Yoo, Ji Chang Wook (Kim Yoo Jung), Lee Byung-hun (Kim Tae Ri), Ji Sung (Lee Se Young), Lee Sun-kyun (IU) and each and every time the age difference is at least 12 years and it’s 15 years on average. No one said anything. Here people are up in the arms. Why people still continue to be this way even in 2022?

And Donald trump where each time he marries his wives get 20 years younger. His latest is about 35 years younger. Leonardo who only dates women less than 25. What values young girls are learning? That they are attractive only if they are less than 25 or 26? It’s women who have a problem young girls especially and it’s mind boggling why? The worst part is that usually women live longer than men and so you want women to marry much older men and live alone when they are old. I guess that’s what makes the misogynistic society happy seeing old women being alone and shaming young women to go for younger men.

1) legal driving age 15/16
2) age of adulthood 17 to 18 you can go to war and you can go to jail for crimes and you can given consent if you are of sound mind. So anyone above 18 is not under age
3) legal age of marriage which is 22 in china and any adult younger cannot marry in china but still they are not underage
4) ages of stations for example minimum age to run government roles usually 30 plus
5) senior age when you are legally able to claim benefits from government can be 60 to 65.
So anyone over 18 can be called immature yes, but underage no.

Yeah and it’s the exact opposite in South Asia. If you are not flamboyant you are out since you are considered too boring. And dating rumours are a good publicity stunt.

She is sweet and lively. I liked her in find yourself. Just the voice is screechy weird. Indian cinema had a very famous superstar heroine called Sridevi who had the most terrible voice. I loved her unfortunately she is no more. She even sung a song once 🤦‍♀️. But then what can someone do if their voice is like that.
