We think we are visual creatures but most often what draws us most to other people is because of how they sound or how they smell… Darth Vader is iconic. I am an avid ebook reader and audiobook consumer. Often what makes or breaks a book is how good the narrator does their job. Try listening to the Vc Schwab Shades of Magic on audiobook, is a simply heavenly experience.
He is an awesome actor. For my mind, his best role is in “Hot Stove League.” He and Park Eun Bin were superb…
I liked him as a baddie the most. Not many Korean actors have the guts to play an evil character and play it with so much attitude. He literally went all out. The actors are usually so image conscious that they probably don’t even sneeze wrong 🙃, but his no holds barred performance was what sold the drama “Remember”. It was one of the highest rated dramas of 2015 and consequently sealed his rise to stardom.
Actors age doesn't equal their characters age, so it doesn't mean much. FL character here is 30 years old and…
Totally agree. The screen age difference even then that equates to a decade of age difference. I actually think as long as they are legal, no power play is happening; age, economic disparities or difference physical abilities should never come between a couple who like each other. What I am trying to understand why people Are so closed when the women is older even by a few years. It’s like saying that women should always be young and pretty and men can be anything they want maybe even Xargon from Planet X.
The female lead here is half the male leads age even then people are rooting for a romance on the flip side people got really vicious with their comments with “why her” where the age difference was only five years. I don’t understand why people have so much double standards. Having said that I really like Nam Goong Min, I loved him as a villain and his role in Remember the war of the son is my most unforgettable (literally number 1) role played by an actor in K Drama. I wish we had more such powerful performers in K Dramaland.
Hm, I get it, but honestly I wouldn't mind. You see the plot is perfectly adapted to changing the main actress,…
Yes I do agree but with romance as a subgenre within fantasy it’s hard to watch for me personally. Face swapping or body swapping as a thriller or Sci Fi genre that would be something I would watch for sure… Anakin Skywalker becoming morphing into Darth Vader is still my favourite. I know the comparison is not linear but I liked the transformation. This one in this drama was not organic but rather used as a plot device to act as a cliffhanger to increase audience engagement. So I am not invested in it at all.
A bit hard for me to watch if they change the actress. I get attached to the characters and how they are portrayed especially the key characters. Imagine if they changed Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter. So I won’t be watching this one. Which is good since I am planning to binge watch Manifest from season 1 on Netflix in November so won’t have any time left to watch anything else anyways.
Indian civilisations are pretty old with archeological excavations proving that they date as old as Neolithic age so that’s about 6500 bc. Mesopotamia is Sumerian civilisation which is present day Iraq not Persia (which is more of an Iron Age civilisation). Also before all the white people brutally killed almost all of the humans and committed severe genocide on a mass scale (maybe tens of millions people) in North and South America they also had very old civilisation such as the Mayan empire. So please get your facts right. As far as I know Korea (North Korea) also had older civilisation.
I find Webtoon remakes superficial and have not been able to finish most of them. Which is why I have actually been veering away from k dramas since 2020. I am not throwing shade on anyone but I feel it must be hard to convert a picture based format into a good script. Also drama writers seem to dumb down the content since it’s based on a younger demographic and I don’t know why they do that. Because movies and shows based on novels for the young have never been dumbed down example - Narnia, Lemony Snickets, Harry Potter, Alice in wonderland (just to name a few). The only one I liked was business proposal and I think that was mainly due to the female lead and her colleagues at work. since they imbued so much charm into their role, it was a pleasure to watch. The male lead was so so. The grandfather was super awesome.
I feel bad for shk people are hating on her so much what did she do to you guys don't be surprised if she kill…
Totally agree and it’s always women who get the hate and from fellow women too. We don’t know the mental state of the celebs and they may be in a vulnerable position and anything might trigger. The worst part is when a celeb commits suicide people either deny or get all religious and say that the person will go to hell (Ike literally that what I read in the comments of a said celeb on MDL who committed suicide). Well if you guys are religious and do believe in the tenets of your religion please stop maligning a person who you don’t know and have never met. Like literally all religions say this and very clearly at that.
