If I have ever seen an underrated drama, this is it. 7?! Come on! This drama is ALL kinds of wonderful. I watched…
I"m glad you enjoyed it too! :)

And very well-deserved for this film, might I add. i watched it in the heat of getting to know Mr Odagiri but…
somehow the comment order is all weird so I am repasting what I replied to you. Agreed. By doing that he has a chance to spread his appeal more widely. It's a prudent approach no matter how we look at it :)

Yes, I have to agree with "bhastie". I too failed to notice him in Giant but this role in Cunning Single Lady fits him well and he has good flow with Min Jung. I totally fell for his character. I just love him there and her too!
On Lee Min Jung Jun 29, 2014
Person Lee Min Jung
I have to say, I loved her in Cunning Single Lady alongside JooSangWook. Very natural chemistry and their story there was lovely. I like her overall. She was a stand out in Boys Over Flowers, for sure. She stole the otherwise average show for me.

Han Seok Kyu AND Lee Je Hoon in a drama together, after doing My Paparotti together earlier. Something to look forward to, those are some solid actors!

those two, SangWook and MinJung are really nice together in this drama. I am watching them and loving them. If it weren't for those clingy second leads, this would be much more enjoyable. But Sangwook and MinJung are just lovely and I like how they do care for each other....ah I love them. For now they are my choice for Best Couple this drama season.

Well this drama still holds strong for me, especially because of the characters. Revenge scheeme resembles old boy a lot and the feels. We observe characters descending into darkness- and the fact that it is slow highlights it more. I loved Uhm Tae Woong here and Jo Ji Hoon was perfect for playing the cold type, he's got this aura. I loved the ending.
Cheer Jun 28, 2014
I was quite impressed with him in One Way- Odagiri I mean. I've seen what he can do and look forward to watching more but I do like it that he takes all kinds of roles.

And very well-deserved for this film, might I add. i watched it in the heat of getting to know Mr Odagiri but got so much more than that. Ended up with a crush on Majime haha. I loved him. Movies like this are quite a delight. It's very heartening to see them getting some love out there.

I loved the characters very much. It's not often that you see such a down to earth drama that doesn't sugar coat love and instead presents it with realistic problems. The leads really grew on me and I applauded Park Cheol Su's constancy. He wasn't intimidating at it, either. He had such a long devotion to GoByungHee that was really touching. And he was rather patient too.

Ahjussi and JunhHee were playful and had a strong appeal to me, but their relationship started off as very..pragmatic. Ahjussi was like a sugar daddy who lived a lonely, empty life and then he met JungHeee. He had a reason to take interest in her...JungHee saw his interest as a chance to better her life and the pragmatic lady that she was, she jumped at it. But their relationship grew into something deeper.

what I got tired of in this drama was that, whilst it tried to make a point about age gaps abd their lack of acceptance in society, it did so in a way that became nagging to me towards the end in particular. They used all the DON'Ts about age gap relationship, exploring potential doubts an older woman or man may have, such as physical appeareans and "functionality", social issues, concern and opinions of the family who kept telling them NO. Even the sisters involved in romances with older/younger men respectively tried to stop each other out of concern (GoByungHee) or some selfshness (JunHee). The other issue was also sex in general and experience in sex as well differences in perspectives on these things.

And frankly GoBungHee's mother as well as the older sister of Cutie Pie went to lengths that could be considered EXTREME in trying to precent the relationship of a woman older than the man by 9 years. Still they were sympathethic and understandable since their motivations and fears were quite understandable.

Characters, the couples who struggled to stabilise in their chosen loves, behaved in an adult and understanding way towards those who were conerned about them most of the time at least, though with some tantrums. And in the end the outcome of the drama was a little open-ended but positive and hopeful for everyone.

Chun Jung Muyng was a cutie pie here. I really grew to like him. I sympathised with Son hyun Joo;s Ahjussi but this is not a character Iever thought he'd play, so different than his noble character in Chaser.

I found the OST catchy, particularly the opening/ending themes.

It was all in all a down-to-earth, drama with likeable characters that probed certain little prosaic elements of love and age-gap love in particular. It did get on my nerves a little with how nagging it became in explorig all the no, event hough the no's made sense to me.

But the drama is not too heavy-handed since it relies on comical quite a bit and it makes for a rather entertaining watch. I found the drama both refreshing but also a little too nagging at certain points.

i've never been a fan of anyone, but it's really amazing when - while not being fond of K-dramas anymore (thanks…
Right :) Let's continue to hope it's going to be so for his future projects then, but first let's hope the ending is such for this one. I look forward to reading your observation once it ends. Personally I don't mind spoilers :) I wanted a new leaf to be a redemptive story since early episodes were suggestive it may be so. I mean- amnesia and his changed behaviour. I can't wait to pick the story up to find out but I will take a peek at comments about ending if there are any.

What!?! Already finale? But this drama is gud.
Kim Myung Min has to work on his new movie, a part of detective K series and it was impossible to adjust to his schedule afer this week. There was an earlier delay in filming and broadcast whch caused this. I think that's the reason they decided to cut it by two episode in the end.
