This shii is getting ridiculous...What kind of monster are you that you had to resort to such manipulative tactics of getting your self severely hurt so that you could gain the trust of someone.....The situation was NOT that dire. I really understand the fact that she force the marriage because she wanted to save her younger brother but she did that at the expense of making the chancellor appeared as a rapist, not only that when it's coupled with the fact she faked her suicide everything became cemented. She knows he didn't have any intentions of assaulting her yet she still play pretend as if that was his intention. I ABSOLUTELY HATE STORYLINES LIKE THIS, it's very disgusting and downplays the greivance REAL victims experience. poor writing


I do not understand what Zai Ye intentions were in trying to choke her to death, it made absolutely no sense. Then again she was the one who tried to kill him first so can you really blame him? My thing is, He had enough self control and resolve not to pounce on her though he was drugged and she was also able to control herself, once both realized they were set up why didn't any one thing of an escape route like through a window or leave the room five minutes apart discreetly? they had enough time since they had full blown conversation. poor writing

I'm like 6 episodes in and every scheme has done from the very beginning were easily seen through by me are these writers saying i'm somehow way smarter than a chancelor who gain favor from the king base on a single action and a princess who had to survive under her evil imperial mother? ridiculous! This leads me to my point on this; The way the events are being played out are way too unbalanced. She's Scheming and so is he if anything they both should be on the same level with wits; how is that he's constantly being led by her? I like a good enemies to lovers especially when it includes two characters who are to deemed equally smart but none of this just isn't cutting it especially when she's on his forte.

Prince Nan Rui who acts as if he's slower than sloth was able to see through Lu Yi lies but for some reason the almighty and smart leader of Qiangyu Army didn't even take a single second to think? Oh brother, he's a even more slower person than the female lead is(was) in the beginning it's actually laughable. Gui Hong isn't trying to discover who killed his aunt or who caused the death of his father, he's simply trying to find someone to push the blame unto so he doesn't have to deal with the fact that he's incompetent and only got where he is right now due to the family he was born in.


I can already predict the ending of this; the uncle is the one who killed the aunt and made Nan Heng a scapegoat, why? so that he'll be a loner without any backative, no one to depend on but him and the Gao family. All of the trial and tribulation was to turn him into something so heartless the only thing he would find joy in is torture and killing. He would've then had Nan Heng kill Nan Rui, kill Gui Hong, kill the King to usurp the throne and then finally have Nan Heng sit on the throne and control him from behind the scenes ulimately creating a puppet he only knows to control. Nan Heng would never know peace and never feel love cause everytime someone with substance comes around him the uncle would eventually kill them and blame it on his enemy which would only cause Nan Heng resentment to keep building making him nothing but a violent killing machine. Too bad Nan Heng is nothing like that at heart and his single only wish is to be loved and appreciated, to feel valued and loved by his family just like it's suppose to be.

They both tried killing eachother….she herself knew why he was trying to kill her. He tried to kill her several times in THE BEGINNING and it’s pretty obvious why he wanted to do that. He hasn’t been in the capital for years yet a rich gurl from nowhere knows so much about him even those he keeps close doesn’t. This show is genuinely so irritating. The writing is very unbalance, I mean UNNECESSARILY unbalance. You're able to believe you travel a few hundred/thousands years back in time, you experience death several times but came back to life but somehow the concept of having proof/evidence of someone being a villian has never clicked to you? Several tropes and storyline has literally changed before her eyes yet she still believe the male lead is this vile villian despite not having a single proof or even a instant of coincidence that proofs her theory just blindly believing whatever base on what she read in a fictional tale. You're now apart of the story, you're a unwanted variable that doesn't belong there, if you were able to take the female lead spot where is your doubt that the same thing might've happened with other characters? Female is tr@$sh without substance, they're trying to paint her as very smart and tactful but dumb3r than her I have not seen.

WEEKLY UPDATE:

1. Unpopular opinion but I really need Jung Yun Hui to find out the truth about who Jang Jae-In is ASAP. I kinda have a feeling they're gonna reveal it around the same time they learn that Choi Ja Yeong wasn't the actual murder, which I know i'll really hate; it's gonna be a ridiculous cliche on the fact the only reason she'll accept her back is because her mom didn't actually murder the daughter and i'm sure they'll forget all about the fact that Choi still attempted murder regardless. I would really wish she would learn about it earlier on out and grow to love and accept Jae-In all over again instead.

2. I really hope they DO NOT give Choi Ja Yeong a redemption arc. She needs to be knocked down several notches. I really don't care how rich you grow up, you're suppose to be intelligent enough to know time and place and when you need to wake up to smell the coffee. She doesn't need to be put in her place, she needs to be taken out of it. Imprisonment should do just that. Them prison brats would know how to give her a proper beaten to fix her.

3. Do Yu Gyeong. That's it....Here her ass goes again. I can't emphazied enough; this woman is not a damn victim. She has her fathers support, he gave her the goahead to open up and to do whatever she wants and she clearly chose to go back to where she isn't needed. I really don't understand how she despises Kang Sae-in becuase she believe her father suffered mistreatment working for her family but still chooses (after being given several opportunities at an out and to leave for good btw) to stay with a family who does nothing but abuse her. She's not mentally fine upstairs. It's very clear she can speak up and sin't afraid to do so either, Her husband doesn't have control over her either. It's evident she has a mind of her own but somehow this is her final pick? Yes she has some affection for her husband left but her eyes also went astray and still is so that's besides the point. I need to know what her deal is. with that being said Ion wanna hear no pity party in the coming weeks, i'm deadass; you made this bed you better lay innit even if there's pin and needles. When I mentioned she's mentally ill, i meant literally that, ion think she's a sain person. that victim mentality runs way too deep

4. Kang Se-ri.....omg gurl......this gurl is like an onion. there's so many layers to her. I have nothing much to say more than she's rotten to the bone it seems. I'm starting to feel a little sorry for Hwang Gi Chan at this point. Bruh is really in for a nasty surprise breaking up his happy home for a snake. shii about to get real

5. The aunt and Seung Woo- That poor kid, he really doesn't deserve any of what's happening now and what's about to come omg. Ion care about what anybody says, that Aunt Kang Mi Ran and her brother Kang Gyu Cheol is responsible for 85-90% of verything that has occured so far. I just can't understand how she was brave enough to abandon to the child or leave the child in her brother care (whatever narrative people wanna push) but no one was open enough to share the full backstory with the wife Choi Ja Yeong, even if it wasn't the full story nobody had human decency to validate her feelings? now what if she was a crash out and drown the new born or something else evil then what? I'm trying to find excuses that could make sense behind Mi Ran and Gyu Cheol reasoning for blinsided her but no matter how hard I think there's absolutely nothing that makes complete sense or reasoning to decieve and us someon like that. All of Seung Woo suffering was caused by his uncle and birth mother and I really hope the character points that out or acknowledges it.

6. No Suk Ja and Hwang Gi Man- I really just hate these fuking losers. all they do is prey on the week and play victims. I really hate Yu Gyeong but I hate both of them even more. Gi man finna put that whole family in debt playing with loan sharks. Yu Gyeong finna see what kind of bed she just made herself to lay in. This one is for her Jae-In...... just like she prescribed you poision, she just did the same to herself and she's about to give it it's first taste and finally understand how bitter it is. Hear for it.

And it’s not necessarily about kissing it’s the mere fact that he refuses to engage in skinship and whenever he does it’s always awkward and out of place. more than anything, the thing his and the production team does that pissed me off is pretending that he’s engaging in a kiss scene by doing weird angles and or we see a curtain fall or the window blow or just shadows on the walls etc. like bro like don’t piss me off. My cup is already full and running off because you refuse to show affection even though your character description says youre a “lover boy” so I would like for you to not upset me further with your nonsense. My thing is I love that he respects his wife/family but I’m such a case heavy romance related genres or most definitely not for you or projects he should be outwardly seeking. Romance isn’t the only genre he needs to explore and attempt at working in other areas cause soon enough people are gonna get tired of his nonsense. No matter how great of an actor you are people will get tired and bored when the same thing is being thrown at us. It took me two dramas of his to give up and be a peace with the fact he’ll never serve me yearning affection or any affection at all(base in his character descriptions)

I had very high hopes and I think I might've expected a bit too much.... It wasn't bad or not good, I just expected more.
