This show has been on a constant decline but one thing I must compliment and it's the fact they had Choi Ja Young apologized before the real truth was reveal cause at the end of the day she still attempted to murder that gurl!

Jae-In and Kim Do Hyun will get together, Seung woo is her cousin.....When you think of the ties what would that ake all of them together?

My condolences to his family. Omg this is so heartbreaking. He was such a versatile actor. Very outstanding actor whether he played as a villain or protagonist. rewatched and I still don't get how people can't see how selfish and self-centered fl is. Also why is no one taking into account that both characters wants totally different things and Fl will stop at nothing to get HER WAY. they're incompatible even though they both love each other. This could and absolutely CANNOT be an happy ending. these people don't compliment eachother personality at al, and most of the stuff they disagree on aren't compromisable topic. The empress knew, the consort knew. the dowager knew, the dowager servant knew(the one currently in the palace and the one who then started serving the empress and the eunuch knew. THEY ALL KNEW he wasn't the correct emperor even if they all learnt at a much later time than shen yi and the prince, they still knew and they did nothing, everyone pretended as if they didn't. While there's hardly anything the servants could've done the empress, dowager and the consort could've had a discussion to do something. They all covered all a murder and because of that one decision that they seeminly did for a greater cause several princes died, several people lost their family members and people who were suppose to have a normally life ended up seeking revenge and lossing themself in the process. THOSE ARE THE FACTS.

They made a wrong choice and that's okay to admit, we've seen too many dramas with the roles reverse and the ML/FL coming to seek revenge because of the same reason for ya'll be acting a damn fool as if it's unfathomable.

Ummm…… they sought him out as a villain even before he attempted to kill Yan Li so what are you even saying? Not a single person saw from his point of view or why he went to such great lengths. Literally all the important people around him knew how he lost his sight and how his mother and father died and everyone covered it up. I’d call him a sage for not going on a rampage of whipping out the king entire family, way better than me cause I would’ve killed everyone around him he cared for and only leave him barely alive to see it!

the last few episode of this show were severely poorly written. They were able to sympathize with the gurl who took revenge on all the perp in the Gold Heist but somehow Yang Ze is some kind of vile unfathomable villian for wanting to avenge his dead mother and father??? I tried to understand....I really did but no matter at what handle I look at it, everyone who covered for the fake emperor should've been killed to atone for all the deaths their poor decision making caused. Three young children lost their mothers and father, A queen, a dowager/mother, several princes and a country lost their ruler. Because of that one decision they made several people who should've been able to live a normal life ended up taking the part of vengeance and it's all the empress dowager, Shen Yi and Prince Jin fault. I cannot understand how they understood releasing the truth about the kig killing a consort would cause uproar but couldn't understand that if he could kill a consort who was btw his absolute favorite of all his wifes who and what else could he not kill. Like okay they covered up him killing the consort to prevent chaos fine but nobody started to think twice after Prince Jin and Shen Yi were murdered? Did it not occur to anyone right then and their that the decision they made was a poor choice and start to nip it in the bud right then and there? In my opinion they should've poison him if they couldn't bare to kill him, poison just enough to where he's unable to rule then have one of the other princes be emperor while the queen or dowager serve as regent.
