Forget the drama. You’re the kind of person who sees everything in black and white, while most people in real…
You’re blowing things out of proportion. Books and tv series are fine. What’s not okay is when people start to fetishize and fantasize about stuff like that happening to them in real life to the point they’ll even go out SEEKING it. That’s exactly what the comments I saw sounded like. From what I READ in the comments these people weren’t seeing qi min as a character anymore.
Forget the drama. You’re the kind of person who sees everything in black and white, while most people in real…
No I’m not being too harsh. His motive changed and victim became a perpetrator. The only thing I pity him for is that he was violated for others selfish desires. The ML and FL both lost their parents and were faced with extreme jeering from the public none of them resorted to killing the innocent. And he wouldn’t have given up the throne to anybody had he won. The child would’ve inherited it ONLY if he became crown prince, Qi min abdicated to him or qi min died without any other male heir. The chose to kill the child not because it was a a reminder of a painful memory but out of sheer selfishness for his great ambition.
Forget the drama. You’re the kind of person who sees everything in black and white, while most people in real…
THANK YOU!!! mind you my comment was never directed at people who praise the actor for his portrayal but directed at comments I saw cursing the SFL for kill Qi min, not reciprocating his “love” and wishing she had died with him. But somehow I’m immature because I wasn’t desperately looking for the romance they all wanted me to see.
Forget the drama. You’re the kind of person who sees everything in black and white, while most people in real…
I know how the child came about in the novel and they also hinted at the same thing in the series. However that’s not the reason he wanted to kill the child. He wanted to kill the child out of fear. He feared after he ascended the throne whatever happened to the late emperor would’ve happen to him and his son would take his position since that was the sole reason the child was conceived. The wet nurse force Qian to have sex with Qi min to secure a heir because he was dying. He first wanted to kill her but changed after she saved him from drowning. His motive for killing longed changed after that too. He now solely wanted the son out of the equation because it interfered with his great ambition. I'm giving him more heat for his action because he's simply just blood-thirsty while Qian was force into the situation of assaulting him.
Forget the drama. You’re the kind of person who sees everything in black and white, while most people in real…
Obsession is just obsession no matter how you put it. There’s nothing to ponder over and there’s nothing more to understand. There’s nothing black and white about my comment either. THIS IS A MAN WHO WANTED TO KILL HIS OWN KIN. In modern times people like qi min would need to be locked away for treatment and any sane woman would keep their distance from a man like that. He didn’t have one but two obsessions. He desperately wanted the throne and desperately wanted Qian for himself, I could even argue he wanted that throne more than he wanted her and would stop at nothing to get it. There’s no romance in their story and ya’ll who are desperately looking for some there need to rethink life. You’re ending down a dangerous road. I’m not referring to people who are admiring the actors portrayal of the character I’m referring to people who wished bad on the Qian because she didn’t reciprocate Qi min “love” and those who so desperately wanted her to “love” him back.
Please learn that obsession can never be love, It’ll only end in your own tragic death. A victim can never truly love their rapist what you're seeing is mental illness developed from the trauma
First of all, this is fiction. There’s no need to attack personally. This kind of moral policing is weird, acting…
The dumb bitches saying exactly would be the ones with a developed frontal lobe and don’t find comfort in the suffering of women. I think you're even forgetting that they fist meet because she raped him under orders of the wet nurse. Though she had no control over her own actions....I still don't see how you can romanticized their relationship.... I pray you heal. Quit talking to me.
Forget the drama. You’re the kind of person who sees everything in black and white, while most people in real…
I watched the show. I saw the story being told from both POV…why am the weird one for calling out those who is worshipping the characters and even saying they hate Qian for not reciprocating qi min “love”?? Mind you both these characters are hurt people with one being a literally rapist and the other being a tyrant murderer....If i should pick a side it would be Qian since she had no control over her action and was force into assaulting him. (she still hold some responsibility for this sin in my book)
First of all, this is fiction. There’s no need to attack personally. This kind of moral policing is weird, acting…
Gurl you can go right on to hell. Art imitates life. Fiction is often closer to the truth than reality. Most if not all fictions are base/derived from real life events. I watched the show. I saw the story being told from both POV…why am the weird one for calling out those who is worshipping the character and even saying they hate Qian for not reciprocating qi min love??
You’re here talking shit as if my comments weren’t directly addressing other comments I see worshipping the toxicity of Qi Min. Not praising his performance of the actor but swooning over the character itself.
Obsession isn’t love you dumb broad. He put her needs before hers because of what she said in the two scenes. It was to prove devotion. This normally happens with obsession. You would know that if YOU weren’t one sided. IT WAS NOT LOVE. In that moment they were in an intense situation which called for a sacrifice so he did to prove devotion. Just like he drank the poison ignoring his own well-being. These are all common traits of people with obsessive tendencies. Do some research before opening your stank mouth.
And just like I said people who worship toxicity will keep being manipulated and hurt by it.
Ya’ll are really weird in these comments and that’s why ya’ll get constantly manipulated and hurt by men. If this idiot truly loved her and wasn’t JUST OBSESSED he would’ve yielded to her when he realized he was trying to take away the only thing she’s living for, her son. Furthermore Qian Qian raped him....(She was force into that situation as she was a servant but she raped him nonetheless) He didn’t love her, he saw her as an object and property that should only belong to him after she saved him. He wanted to secure the thrown more than he wanted to see her happy. There was only two instances where he showed “affection” and that was when he took the arrows for her and remove the chains so she wouldn’t fall with him and even then that was still not love. He simply had a realization that he had lost after years of planning and scheming. He never loved her and had she been with him any longer she would’ve developed Stockholm syndrome and the reason I said this was because of the scene when she went to feed him poison that was her showing him grace and giving him a less brutal death than he would’ve faced under the law. His execution would’ve been worst…
Again this is not dark romance, This is a story about a victim who became obsessed with his rapist. There was no love and there was no romance just merely obsession.
He was just as obsessed with sitting on the throne as he was about having her to his self.
Not to be spread hate but it is preposterous to want to compare the two. One has range the other does not and quite literally always plays the same childish roles except for one and in my opinion that character she played relied more on camera work and to me the acting was dull. The fact is Esther can't act and the only thing she has behind her name is being rich, pretty and popular....She has no real talent and solely relies on her rich parents to secure roles for her. This isn't coming from a place of hate either as said before, this is just the truth people are too afraid to say cause her fans are insufferable. Her whole family are POS. i remembered her father being under fire for owing over 15 million in debt only for her to be seen shopping in a high end luxury store with him. I don't think people should judge you base on your family's actions but she's an adult, she hears and read the reports on his debt; both the father and grandfather btw...why are you in luxury store splurging with him?
Anyways the point of the matter is she can never be compared to Rosy and this is not because I'm a Rosy fan either. One is talented and build a career base on that alone while the other is a Moral accomplice of scammers and loan sharks who didn't even had the decency to apologize to her fans when she was caught splurging money on luxury items with her dad who owed 15 million in debt. For me that was distasteful and out of touch. I've never disliked her as a person but after seeing how arrogant her attitude was when the video of her shopping with her dad, I just knew....
Great start, exceptional even but once they moved to the capital and the Lin'an massacre happen that was the end of a great show. the writing went down hill and the storytelling became lackluster. I've watched the leaked ep and God.... that ending. This is exactly what I was dreading would happen. I won't say much but for those of us who watched Fated hearts do you remember whole fiasco with ML sister/ the princess becoming the ruler after she sold out her country for her man who showed no interest in her from the very beginning but she insisted on marrying him? Do ya'll remember how dumb we though it was for her to become the ruler of the very country she sold for a man? That's not how I feel about this ending lol I just wanted people to be reminded about how poor the writing for that show was. Anyways the ending for this one was severely underwhelming also. I don't know how to describe it but too many people died victims for the real reason to be stemmed from a big misunderstanding. That's the simplest way to put it.
The Emperor is not mediating, he's checking the winds to see who he should appease more. He's a puppet of the…
He’s meditating. Though he’s a puppet of one side he still needs to appease the other as they’re also powerful. So even though Wei Yan has the upper hand Minister Li still also has a strong hold on him too.
The two ministers fighting and the emperor trying to mediate is just too funny. These people cannot be the ones who are to be the big bad villains behind the scene. They're nothing short of ridiculous. Are Li and Wei really enemies? they seem like old married couple to me. That poor emperor really has his work cut out for him. I just know he's tired.
I know this is suppose to be comedy but when i see the contrast between Tengda and Skyfire my eyes starts to brim with tears. Of course in real life there won't ever be a company like Tengda but it really breaks my heart how spot on and close to reality Sky fire is. The stuff people hat to do just to get bye is heartbreaking. It really makes me glad I have the option of choosing how much I work.
They are trying to keep up with the novel since it's too long to be 40 ep. First episodes were not rushed but…
They really do not need to rush it. thee show can be split into two parts like they did with Love like the Galaxy as a matter of fact Fans would've loved this way more to know there's another season.
Writing quality dropped severely once the massacre in Lin'an happened. The fight scenes are still unpar and that's all about the good thing I can say. With all the Ai scenes, the dragging of the story, the misunderstanding between the leads...Like come on man. There's only 8 episodes left. We should be focusing on the backstory of the ML/FL fathers and what happened back then. Wei Yan is a Villain yet we've yet to see him being his evil self. We're just hearing that he's a mastermind but never see him doing anything but argue in the court a few times. Like why is he a villain in the plot of you won't let him execute being one? Wen Kan is annoying too. I just think instead of trying to pack everything into the last two episode and give we a rush ending without showing us their life's after they've settle down they could cut some of these filler scene and pace out the important stuffs accordingly.
I think Cdamalamd have been using AI to do alot of special effects lately....which explains the fast turnaround…
That is not at all a good thing. Before Ai became prominent CGI was doing it's thing just fine. It's actually better than people losing their work and art to a machine that is destroying the earth. We of course cannot stop them from using it but I would much rather they stick to only using it for absolute necessities
That is CG, not AI. There is a difference. They only used AI on the actor's face.
It is not. There's a clear difference between what CGI and AI looks like and those scenes were in fact AI generated. I've been watching Asian drama since 08, I think I'm well verse in differentiating between the two.
They're using AI in this show and it's literally so obvious. They used it for the flood as well as in the flashback to the battlefield in ep 27....OH brother can they not only use it if it's absolutely necessary like to switch an actors face or something? why for simple scenes like those...and it's literally so obvious too.
Gotta say the same thing, it’s not a wow drama but they doing a good job besides some episodes that almost made…
To be totally transparent I’m watching for three reasons. I want to know the full story between Qi Man and Qian Qian, why would Wei Yan kill his uncle then turn around to raise his child to be formidable and why did FL parents had to die. More than anything I’m most curious about the last two.
